^^sis stormy,  okay naman ang philadelphia wala akong masabing hindi maganda about the school halos same din sa ibang preschool, kaya lang nakukulangan ako.. halos kasi lahat ng tinuturo nila alam na ng anak ko... very basic lang na pwedeng matutunan ng bata by watching tv. pero kung hindi ka naman masyado maarte like me, okay na ang philadelphia. for its price worth it na sya.

    pero dahil sa maarteng nanay ako, kaya bumalik kami sa Cambridge banawe. and i can say na dito talaga nag dedevelop ang anak ko, wala pang 1 month pero madami na kong nakikitang improvement sa kanya..

so far,maganda ang nursery sa hope christian high school...imagine,3 yrs old lang son ko marunong na magsulat ng chinese na 1 to 10 ... kakatuwa ... they also have basketball practice for kids ages 3 to 6 free ... daming improvements ng son ko simula pumasok....by the way,first time schooling cya   =)

mss is preschool at d tuazon qc. ok naman dun kasi nga madaming culminating activities. ang di ko lang nagustuhan nung huli was nahirapan akong itransfer sa big school and anak ko. from nursery to k1 sya doon. i should have transferred him when he was incoming kinder 1.

my son now is studying at pace academy also in qc. near grace christian and philadelphia.  k2 na siya now. ok naman din dun but im thinking i might try grace christian next school year. kaso and chinese ng pace and grace hindi magkalevel so for sure mahirapan ang anak ko.... what do you think mga sis?

sis what do u mean ideally nung kinde 1  nilipat mo an sya sa big school?...........so ako pala dapat from toddler to nursery lang tapos lipat kona sya sa big school pagdating ng kinder 1 no?...tenks so much

my daughter is now in mss sa nursery. since toddler class sya doon pumasok. i liked the school coz yun nga, madami silang activities. the tuition is a bit steep pero nakita ko sobrang worth it. i like the progressive approach in teaching coz more hands on mga kids. they have field trips to places that is related to their topic for the month & my duaghter so enjoys learning different things! they have cooking, art, computer lessons aside from the usual activities. nakakatuwa din coz they always have a christmas program and metamorphosis (parang graduation) every year.... you get to see your child sing and dance onstage!    next year though, we will be transferring to grace christian na. most of our child's classmates are transferring to big schools already. mas mabilis kasi pumasok sa big schools for K1 kaysa K2. mas stict daw mga requirements for K2 incoming students.

somebody here knows around how much is the tuition at MGC?

hi mga sis, medyo nalito lang ako sa k1 k2, anung age bracket ba ang k1 and k2?  balak ko ipasok sa mind specialist son ko ngayon 2010 june also were thinking about mother goose and apples and oranges kasi di nagkakalayo naman mga tuition fees nila kaya really were undecided pa. Ngayon sa tabi tabi na pre school lang sya he is 4yo turning 5 ngayong april 30th. So possible pa ba sya pumasok sa mss this coming june? anung level na niya bale? sorry naconfused ako, real plan namin is mag ateneo sya starting from grade 1, dapat nga before pa kaso malayo kami sa katip we are located near d.tuazon kaya save ko na yung 1 year muna na hindi magtravel ng ganun kalayo.

Advice naman what will i do, gusto ko magateneo anak ko so kelangan prepare ko sya ng magandang pre school diba? My son is very bright at his age. He can read write kahit medyo pangit, ang talks english fluently di namin sya kinakausap ng tagalog, and not encourage chines as well although were half breed. Please help and advice thanks to all mga sisters...

My children now are studying at Pace Academy. So far satisfied ako sa turo nila. I have already tried Grace Christian. I really dont want their chinese curriculum sobrang memorization. Dont want to waste my children's time in the afternoon without learning anything. My child was a consistent honor student in Grace, she would end up in the top 3 overall in their class in Grace. Pero pagdating sa Pace nasa number 5 and 6 na lang sya. Mas rigid ang training sa Pace. My nieces and nephewsw who are still in Grace are haing a hard time with english composition kulang talaga sila sa training. Not to mention that they are around 35-40 students in a class.

@ melody_joyjoy cant send pms yet but i like your advice. Anyone here knows if ateneo is still accepting kinder students at the moment ? pero sis as far as i remember ang tinatanggap lang sa ateneo is kinder and that is 6yo. my son is just turning 5 this april, so could anyone chime in kung tama ba ako or hindi? also mga sis if yun nga kung open pa ba ang ateneo ngayon for new students if ever. And lastly CSA ba are also considered big school? please enlighthen thanks!!
