may I know how much insurance coverage is included in the $60? I know it is or used to be $200 per box, but I think some companies have reduced this to $100.

^Used PAL cargo sis, but going here to Great Britain yun. Paid 25T pesos for 31kg.

sis  mali pala (omg ang eng eng ko  hahaha ) hindi pala $300 for 4 boxes but $280 for all the boxes.

570 per box kase then freebie na the 2 small boxes.

How i wish may Star Cargo  dito kaso  wala .

im in east coast too and i know this free mini boxes. pero $65 per box sakin.

hello question lang mga sis regarding balikbayan box. ang pwede lang ba magdala neto ay ofw? or kahit ba tourist ka lang sa country na yun pwede? (country is japan)

balikbayan box is coursed thru a forwarder sila nagshiship for you kase if idaan mo sa airport, lugi ka sa mahal ng babayaran mo.

pwede bang magdala ng balikbayan box ontop of your allowed luggage? tapos pay ka na lang ng extra fee? OR pwede balikbayan box in replacement of your luggage?

^ some travelers use boxes instead of luggages. Kaya foreigners call balikbayan boxes as pinoy samsonites.

If you plan on checking in more bags or boxes more than the airline allows, be sure to contact them ahead of time. Super mahal kasi ng excess baggage rates.

^ ganyan ginawa namin nung umuwi kame ng Pinas, we have 3 boxes with us. wala kasing weight ang box halos, kaya isa lang ang maleta namin. pero nag excess pa rin kame. hehe.

yung ninang ng baby ko nagapadala from NC in US ng balikbayan box containing party goods, goodies and pangloot bag sa baby ko for his 1st birthday, special gift nya k baby. ang masaklap yung kasabay na box na pinadala nya sa family nya sa zamboanga dumating na, yung sakin hindi pa waaaaah

tama naman ang address and check nya sa usps uncertain ang timeline kung kailangan mareceive. no tracking number pa, san ko kaya pwede ifllowup to. malapit na birthday ni baby!

yung ninang ng baby mo dapat mag-follow-up sa pinagpadalhan nyang company sa US. and may balikbayan palang walang tracking number.

I think all boxes originating from the US subject to inspection na by Homeland Security, hence the delays. Dati kasi 1 month lang nare-receive na sa Manila, but now it takes as long as 3 months kasi yung port congestion is another factor.

I now use Atlas Shippers. Hindi very detailed ang tracking, but maski paano I have an idea where my boxes are... Meron bang company na mas detailed pa ang tracking?

^I'm happy with Star Kargo (ABS-CBN company). Sila lagi kong gamit from CA to MNL. Recently I had BB boxes last June/July and I received them in July/August, sakto one month lang. They have tracking sa website nila. I also commented nga to my husband with all the delays because of port congestion meron siguro connect itong company na ito kasi walang delay. Plus since my brother is a TFC subscriber meron rebate na $10.00

Sorry ha, newbie ako sa mga ganto, my husband was assigned for months at Boston, and he is planning to buy some stuff there then send it here, any suggestions kun paano padala? Is it true na we have to like take out tags/prices or boxes of it before sending it here as a balikbayan box? sabi kasi to reduce or para di malagyan ng taxes?

And pwede ba yung mga bottled like perfumes? or yun mga lotionS? sorry, im at work kasi di ako makapg back read kun meron man nasabi na tungkol dito...

No need to remove tags sis. Pwede anything basta wag lang mga contraband like drugs. Etc. Pero perfume toiletries food clothes makeup. Pwede lahat yun. Try nyo atlas shippers. That's what my sister use to send me some bakikbayan boxes.

What I mean bout drugs is yung bawal na drugs. Pwede din kase mga medicines or vitamins.

DHL , UPS and FedEx kasi super mahal. But that was years ago. I don't know if competitive na prices nila ngayon
