hi po sa inyo, our petition is under the live in caregiver program, mom ko ang principal applicant, 2008 pa kami nag aply, hintay pa din ng visa, my problem is, mag 25 na ko this sept, dapat ba talagang continuous study ako? i graduated 2008 sa college, then nag masters ako 2009, since nagkababy ako nung 2008, di muna ako nag enrol agad. lagi ako nakaenrol even summer. pero ngaun na kinuha na yung passport namin nung november, do i still have to enrol this summer and on june? hinihintay yung medical ng anak ko kasi she failed eh coz of speech problems, papa medical ulit this may, hopefuly makapasa, i really dont want to enroll my self dahil we are starting to save money na. what's your feedback sissies? montreal quebec nga pala ang destinationa nmin..

Hello mga sis...just came here in Edmonton 1 week ago...we came from Dubai,na transfer yung work ni husband dito sa Edmonton temp working visa kami...Currently we are staying in a motel provided by my husband's company.After 1 month maghahanap na kami ng apartment,san ba magandang place magrent dito sa Edmonton, work ni husband sa Nisku,gusto ko sana yung malapit sa church,school saka mga shopping centers and supermarket...I'm thinking also na magpart time ako san ba pwede magapply? yes sis, you'll need it pag land mo dito canada. the immigration will check it pag di buo ang show money mo ma e A to A ka.. pero di na uso traveller's check ngayon bankdraft nahingin mo sa bank cheke din un.. mas maganda pag may acct. ka sa BPI mas madali sakanila..

ano ba madaling mapasukan na work? sponsored ako ng husband ko. im working here sa phils sa brand marketing so alam ko naman na hindi ako makakakuha ng work sa ganun field pagdating sa canada. gusto ko lang magkawork agad para hindi naman ako fully dependent sa kanya. plus sa inlaws pa kami tittira. i want to earn agad kasi i want us to have our own place agad.

nagpart time sya sa mga fast food and convenient store until nakahanap sya ng regular job.sa Manitoba din sila naka-base

sarsingkit: pag di ka mapili sa work dami pwede pasukan dito sa canada ang mahirap lang pag yung trabaho sa pinas ang gusto mo ring trabaho here...goodluck on that...not unless in demand dito ang work experience mo like sa mga health care.

mga madaling pasukan na work here. fastfood, resto, sales assistant, companion. isip pa ako.

depende sa lugar sis, madaling makapasok sa mga coffee shop, fast food, kahit sa starbucks pwede ka mag apply.

kahit work sa retail pwede rin makapasok.
baka manibago ka sa work at tim's. its a very busy place, can be overwhelming at times. pero meron naman room to grow since you can be promoted.

Anyone here from winnipeg?  We are migrating soon and looking for apartment.  Where would u suggest na area around/near the city?  Our work is in downtown.  So sana malapit and magandang place.  Is there a place there na safe and nice like Makati salcedo or legazpi village or Fort sa Taguig?

I'm from Montreal, I spoke to one of the pinoy moms here na nagsponsor din ng mga anak nya sa pilipinas under the live in caregiver program. I think her kids are all ranging from 23 to 25 na din. She told me na yeah kelangan ma prove mo pa din na you're still studying. Goodluck!

mga sis, i just want to give you an idea sa mga gustong magkaroon ng sariling bahay dito sa canada. check out nyo ang HABITAT FOR HUMANITY,

nagka-idea ako nito kasi yung isa kong friend na classmate sa school ito ang bahay nila ang ok na ok ang tirahan nya ang ganda duplex sya.

ganito kasi ang habitat. di sya katulad sa atin na isang place pro bahay lang sya ng habitat dito mostly isa lang na bahay or duplex, kasi ginagawa nila pag may mag donate ng lupa or magbebenta ng mura bibilhin nila yun then yun ang papatayuan ng bahay. ang siste lang pag ikaw ang mag avail kelangan kumikita ka ng at least 30k annually, then may volunteer ka ng 200-250 hrs sa kanila (kung may friends ka na tutulong sa iyo or mag-volunteer din mababawas yung hours mo) then every month ang babayaran mo lang ay nasa 500 (pero depende siguro sa lugar).

ang ganda ng bahay ng friend ko 3 bedrooms, 2 floors, may malaking deck and kumpleto na sa gamit from habitat lahat yun (kaso yung ibang gamit 2nd hand kasi donation).

well, just an idea for anyone na gusto magkaroon ng bahay dito na mura at maganda.

depende rin where in toronto you want to live. basement apartments are definitely more cheaper than a high rise or even a low rise.

average 1br would probably cost almost $900.

medyo mahirap makapag-work agad as RN in canada sis it requires na kailanagan mag-aral ka dun for you to work as RN there,
Mas madaling makaalis if may job offer ka in 6 months pwede na,for family sponsorship medyo matagal especially now stop muna sila ng for the immigrants resumes daw sila next year babaguhin na naman ang policy and their backlogs
