hi sis @honey-eccalire, i dont think kasama pa sa family class sponsorship yung situation ni BIL mo and hubby mo. parents, children and spouse lang ata ang pwede.

@bluerose25: bilis ng visa mo ah at sa vancouver pa. yung family ni hubby migrated via provincial nominee sa winnipeg, it took them more than 2 years ata.

yes sis mabilis nga 6mos. to be on exact.. pero ngayon the problem naman is need na namin umalis kasi May expiration ng visa. mejo hindi padin kami ready..hai so i really need help to our sisses who's in canada already..

sis sarsingkit, ask lang po. my hubby is just waiting for his LMO to be issued by his employer, and when he was interviewed, the visa they will give to him is TRV. Mga how long kaya before kami pwede ma sponsor ng 2-year old son ko? tia.

ay hindi ko sure sis. kasi if nakawork permit after 3 years saka pwede magapply for PR. pero baka pwede naman TRV to PR na agad (andyan naman sya to work) pero malamang 3 years din aabutin. if PR na sya, i-apply na nya kayo agad. in 9 months (according to CIC website) may visa na kayo. pero may iba in 4-6months, may visa na agad. goodluck sis!

^ay she said kasi kelan silla ma-sponsor ng 2 year old son nya. but if that's the case (helping out to get work din), im not sure how. siguro maghanap na lang din ng employer si husband para kay wife pagdating ni husband sa canada. but i guess, you could undergo the same procedure that your husband did. agency ba yun sis roxycarlo?

hi sis sarsingkit and sis eischied_21, direct hire ang husband ko at McDonald's Canada. under food service noc category. i am asking nga if when kami pwede ma sponsor cause the visa that they will provide for my hubby is TRV. i was just wondrin' since TRV ang binigay if pwede na ba kami i-sponsor kahit after 6 months.

ay sis, only a permanent resident and a citizen can sponsor a spouse and kids under the family sponsorship category. and the processing time is 9 months for Manila pero like what i've said yung sa iba 6 months may visa na.

TRV kasi is as good as tourist diba. i checked the tourist visa sa CIC, TRV yung lumalabas. pero maganda yung idea ni sis honey-ecclaire, he can look for employers na lang din for you pagdating nya sa canada pero no guarantee that you bring your kid. you can just do the same process kagaya ng sa asawa mo since direct hire sya from here. goodluck sis!

I don't know wxactly ngayon sis,Yung sa BIL ko and his fam who are in Manitoba now..Last July lang sila nakapunta dun...two years yata yung processing nung sa kanila...

hubby and his family migrated last 2007 pa, 2 1/2 years. dapat 2 years lang sana pero nagkaproblem sa medical si father in law kaya nadelay. they are under provincial nominee program din ng Manitoba.

January last year BIL and his fam,nirequest na sila for medical then after one month dumating na visa nila...They opted to wait lang yung 15 yrs ni SIL sa bank kaya inabutan sila ng July..
Di ko masyadong alam yung details since sa province kami nakatira..at si hubby,di masyadong alam ang details...

been waiting for our pr for almost 7 years na.    grabe, ang hirap with the wait, feels like life had been on hold for too long...  turning 34 this year and planning a baby..  scared if visa does come within 2 years kung paano kami since can't leave baby at home so parang hubby needs to sustain for us all.

^sis, how come ang tagal ng PR niyo? where in Canada are you? madali na lang ang PR ngayon, in 3 years, one can apply for a PR, provided you have a stable job in Canada

kamusta naman ang bilihin sa canada ? food, clothes, bags, appliances, children's/babies' clothes, toys? mas mura pa rin ba dito o parehas lang? atsaka i noticed na madalas mag-party yung mga pinoy sa canada, napaisip tuloy ako na baka mura lang ang food.

majority of food products are not taxed here. in ontario the tax is 13% on good and services generally. children's clothes/shoes get lesser tax.

hindi ko macompare if prices of merchandise here is cheaper than in the phils., baka mas mahal or same lang bec of the tax and of course the conversion rate. but food for sure is a lot more affordable.

as for pinoy parties, depende rin yan. well, personally ako hindi. kasi i dont have a maid, and mostly if i have a party here in my house, baka hindi ko lang ma enjoy since i would be busy running around serving my guests. but usually, we have small get-togethers, not really a party per se, dinner or lunch lang sa bahay-bahay ng mga friends, then kwentuhan lang. or bar-b-q during summer.
