Meron po bang nurses dito? Nag apply din kasi ako as FSW sa agency. My work experience is a private duty nurse. Ngayong complete ko na ang requirements biglang sinabi ng agency na mas maganda kung ang work certificate ko ay galing sa hospital kasi mas mahirap daw pag private practice kasi daw baka mag doubt ang canadian immigration.

Gusto ko lang malaman kung totoo ba ito? Since mahirap naman maghagilap ng certificate galing sa hospital at wala naman akong kakilala. Ang agency din naman mismo ang nagsabi na puede yung experience ko.

Mahirap naman na mag give up ako kung kelan complete ko na lahat dahil lang may sabit sa work experience ko. I really need your advice mga sis.

My BIL and his Family migrated in Manitoba too last July,medyo nahirapan si BIL to find a job since di nya natapos yung Welding course nya sa TESAD na pinapakuha ng nag-sponsor sa kanila...
So for few months he has a part time job,buti ngayon may regular job na sya(fulltime)

hi sis jhaney. are you applying as immigrant or through work? yup, nurses are listed as the top 29 priority occupations in canada as of july 2011. basic requirement for RN's are :    ( 1. Completion of a university, college or other approved registered nursing program is required. 2. Additional academic training or experience is required to specialize in a specific area of nursing. 3. A master's or doctoral degree in nursing is usually required for clinical nurse specialists, clinical nurses, nursing consultants and nursing researchers. 4.Registration with a regulatory body is required in all provinces and territories.) Yan ang mga submitted documents ng cousin ko na nurse doon, pero baka magkaiba din since through agency ka ha. if you apply under FSW, you should have adequate education and work experience kasi it is this criteria that has the most emphasis in applying for FSW. they have a point system for this -- and if you pass the minimum requirement for their point system, then you are eligible. Much better pa nga sa iyo kasi you have a job order na, which means it may speed up your processing. hope this helps. thanks

Sis, wala pa akong job order. I think na meet ko naman ang requirements under FSW dahil my work experience naman ako. Private Nurse nga lang pero I think pasok naman siya sa Registered Nurse since nakalagay sa website ng CIC.

my lola is very sick na and she needs someone to take her to the hospital for check ups and kasama sa bahay, pero right now kasi andon sya sa tita ko with 2 kids.. my aunts in CA has jobs and di nila masiguro na masasamahan nila ang lola ko.. i finished caregiving pero til now wala pa din ang cert ko kasi di pa ko nakakakuha ng tesda. i asked my aunt if she can sponsor me para ako na lang sana ang pupunta ang tutulong sa lola ko. you think i have a big chance na makapunta ng CA?

hi mga sisses, need your comments/advise regarding my situation, i am currently working here in ME and having a good salary but unfortunately i cannot bring my family here, alam nyo naman pag mideast eh medyo may discrimination pag asian at babae ang magsponsor.  My husband and I are thinking kung pano kami makakapunta sa Canada.  May relatives kami sa Vancouver kaso hindi naman sila pwede magsponsor sa PNP kasi employer-driver and Provincial Nominee don so, we were thinking kung mag-aral ako ng caregiver or yung sa hospitality industry such as Food Counter attendant or Food and beverage server. 

Which do you think is the best and shortest way na para makuha ko ang family ko if lucky enough that I will be working in Canada.

^you have to be either a permanent resident or a citizen to sponsor your family. if youre gonna be on a working permit pagdating ng canada, aabutin din ata ng years to become a permanent resident. pero once permanent resident ka na. in 9 months time (according to canada visa website) may approved visa na din ang family mo.

thanks sis for your quick response.  actually, it is better to take years na may kapupuntahan yung sacrifices ko na malayo sa family and sooner or later they will join me rather than working here alone and no chance for them to join me here in ME.  Which one do you think better, in the hospitality courses or caregiver course?

At saka nga pala, just want to know, if we have any sisses here who applied for Quebec Skilled Worker?  Kindly share your experiences and timeline.  TIA

^live-in caregiver sis. mas mabilis pag caregiver, provided you have a certification as a proof for that. basta skilled workers, occupations starting with A, O or B, pwedeng madala ang family. madali rin ang restaurant jobs, no. 1 yan sa list of in demand occupations in Canada. to be a PR, mas maganda kung may JO(job order), within 3 years, pwede ka na mag file ng PR, then within 9 months, you can sponsor your family. i have aunt sa Quebec, mas madali pumasok dun - according to their point system, but basic requirement is the French language. hope this helps.

^thanks sis.  baka umuwi ako ng pinas para mag-aral ng Caregiver, wala kasing training school dito sa country kung san ako naka base ngayon.  San ba pwede makakuha ng JO?  any recommended agency or website na willing mag sponsor?  TIA

hi mga sis.. anyone here from vancouver? me and my hubby are bound to arrive in canada this coming april.. we don't have family or friends there and I just applied for PR last year. back to zero talaga kami since start over lahat. until now wala padin kaming nakikitang matitirhan and it's really hard to find one na may magandang environment since we have a kid. any recommendation? thanks so much...
