Hello guys. i am new here. i'll be joining this thread na, since I am planning to apply for Canadian immigration (MANITOBA) via the Family Support Stream.
My question is, do I really have to give them ALL of the home addresses where I lived since 18 years old?
Is it really necessary, or can I just skip it?
Will Canada immigration investigate on your address just to check if you're telling the truth?

I have lived in 3 countries since i was 18. And I do not know the apartment address where I lived abroad. (I only lived there for 6 weeks, then I moved to another city in the same country)
It would be quite hard for me to trace or find out my address there.

Please give me advice.  Thank you so much.

sa iba't ibang page ng application form halos pare-pareho ang tanong but it's always within ten years range.  from the date you're filing up the application to ten years back.

may questions din na 'where you have lived for 6mos or more'

and you can't skip boxes or else put N/A on. 

will CA immigration know if you're telling the truth? yes.  a friend of mine was asked for a personal interview sa canadian embassy,  she purposely 'lie' on one of the questions.  paulit ulit na tinanong sya ng officer about dun and paulit ulit din syang nagsinungaling.

sabi daw ng officer, 'you're lying'  and presented a copy of a document they themselve secured.  your copy or answer should match what's with them. or else, redmark ang katapat.

Just wanna ask about IELTS exam for Canada immigration requirements. Dun sa mga nag-take ng IELTS, gaano ka-tagal kayo nag-prepare / study for the exams? And what are your study techniques?

^ sis, if General Training, it's really just stock knowledge. Ang preparation ko lang is I had a trial test with a consultant, so I just know what types of questions to expect. When I had the actual test, it's easy lang. Basta naintindihan mo, you're good.

Skim a Baron IELTS book (may binebenta din na CD sa may PRC) para you get the feel of the test procedures.

has anyone tried securing an Australian police clearance?  i got my Letter of Approval from MPNP recently and trying to prepare the package for the immigration.  I was in Australia for about 8 months.  i'm currently in manila.  may naka-experience na po ba nito?

My immigration for Canada is currently in process. Nagrereview din ako for IELTS right now. I didn't know the madali lang ang General Training kasi puro mababa ang score na nakukuha ko sa review.

Meron ba talagang required na IELTS score sa Canada? Kasi sa agency ako and they have a requirement. I should get a score of 7.5 sa Listening and 6.5 sa Reading, Writing and Speaking.

For Canadian citizens na, could you let me know how the taxation of overseas businesses work? My dad's friend renounced his Ca citizenship nung hinabol ng Ca govt for his businesses in the Philippines, hinihingi is 40% of income daw. Is this true? and does it mean kahit na kelangan declare lahat ng income sa ca govt, even if hindi nireremit ang income sa canada (eg profits in PHL or US stays in that country)?  Thanks in advance.

^ i am not sure of the percentage but yes, they'll charge anyone(read: citizens and i am not sure or PR's) na may income generating abroad. there's so much technicalities in here so i suggest you visit their site. it will always lead you to the information you want to know.

^as long as the IELTS is still valid, that should be fine, 2years lang kasi ang validity nun e.

May nabibilhan kaya Bearbrand Milk ang brand jan or any Filipino stores?

Naawa kasi ako sa pamangkin ko, 3 days pa lang sila dumating jan sa Canada and lost weight already. He's 5 years old kaso homesick agad kasi nahiwalay na sya sa lolo nya nasa pinas. kaya wala gana at tamlay tamlay ayaw din uminom ng gatas na meron jan.

Baka naman may alam kayo pwedeng bilhan kasi gusto daw nya Bearbrand. Di sila nagdala kasi natakot ang ate magdala ng dairy products sa bagahe nila.

mga sis, dun kasi sa assesment, 67 points ako kapag high lahat ng IELTS ko, like 7.5 listening
,6.5 reading and writing, kapag naging moderate ako like getting lower scores dyan, di na ako
qualified kasi mababawasan ako score. nagkapag ACADEMIC na ako dati and mostly 6.5 lang ako
except speaking na 7. kinakabahan kasi ako mag IELTS kahit GT pa sya.Madali labg ba talaga?

ako self review nun for academic module..my listening skill is very poor but with practice, nakuha ko naman yung 7.5..i have passed it but it's useless so im preparing for GT..Im planning to take it on october, hopefully makaabot sa 500 cap..if not, then Id try next year..nag-iipon pa lang naman kami for show money..haist, hirap ng life..pero we need to face our fear para makamove forward..kaya mo yan sis..just prepare for it..goodluck satin
