hi sis, who's taking care of your kids na? are u working na ba in canada?

hi sis...SAHM ako, hands on ako sa mga babies ko especially medyo critical age pa sila, much better kung kami magdidisiplina at mag aalaga sa kanila.
as of now im taking short courses offered by Toronto District School Board. Im taking up web design every saturday ang classes para in the near  future i could work na kahit dito sa bahay.

mahirap ba ang exam ng IELTS? meron na bang nakapag exam sa inyo non? tungkol ba saan ang exam non?

mga sis may tanong lang ako. hope masagot niyo agad. yung auntie ko kasi na nasa alberta canada pinapa aral niya ako ng caregiver. dahil nga ang mag sponsor sa akin ay yung husband ng auntie ko na canadian. sa tingin niyo ba pag halimbawa tapos na ako mag aral ng caregiver at mag process na ako ng papers ko para mag apply na sa canada? sa palagay niyo 100% sure na kaya na makarating agad ako ng canada? kasi iniisip ko baka hanapan pa ako sa embassy ng canada ng work experience. baka hindi pumayag ang embassy na caregiver lang ang experience ko.gusto ko lang makasiguro kung sigurado na talaga na makakarating na ako ng canada or hindi.

mga sis may tanong lang ako mas madali bang makarating ng canada pag may mag sponsor?

^what i know is that if you're application is for skilled worker, then may plus points kung may relative ka sa canada na mag-sasign ng document of support ... but for a working visa, it will be faster if you have an employer to sponsor you ... not sure ako with the working visa coz for FSW ang application namin ... maybe other sisses here can answer you.

coz' im planning to take a caregiver course. and my auntie's husband will sponsor me. he already get a employer for me. thats why they want me to study caregiver.

magsisimula pa lang po ako mag aral ng caregiver next month. sa tingin niyo po kahit po ba may mag sponsor at may employer na rin. pero kung hindi makapasa sa speak test or sa interview hindi na po ba magagawan ng paraan para makarating ng canada?

^mag work ka sa HK or Middle east atleast 2yrs as DH or something similar tapos apply ka papuntang canada as caregiver, mas madali ang processing

What was the first thing you did? How you got your job? How did your kids adjust? etc. Kamusta ang rent dyan, salary and benefits?

Do you genuinely recommend migrating to Canada?

Definitely!!! kakalipat lang namin dito a few months ago,after living in US for 6 years,I realized mas gusto ko dito.
If you really want to get a job here,try to check online job in Alberta And Saskatchewan,they do sponsorship ,mag apply ka muna pag natanggap ka,they will send you everything and you can take it from there,parang ang tagal naman ng 5 years,Alberta & Sas are open for employment they are literally need workers,don't try Ontario it's too crowded in here and job hunting isn't a breeze.
madali pa ang immigration,they are very considerate in terms of family,kaya in two years time pwede na ako magpetition.

there are so many ways to come here in Canada,why not try to enroll here instead,apply ka ng study permit,check mo yung website nila cic.gov.ca (i hope tama ako,or just yahoo! it na lang) they have info there how to apply if you are outside Canada.be an int'l student,they will give you papers then u can get your student visa sa embassy and while having it,you can also work.

Just got here to Burnaby in British Columbia 2 months ago. I'm still adjusting. We do have relatives here, though siyempre kanya-kanyang situation din yan. Life is simple and easy here, though I hate the weather.

Anybody here living in Burnaby/Vancouver? Di ba tayo pwede mag-meet-up? LOL. I still badly need new friends.

Ako naman apart from relatives and family friends... i have a friend from the phils. who also migrated, we've met here already and gusto nya rin ako pakilala sa friends nya kaya lang ayoko pa masyado maglalabas kase medyo tipid mode pa kami. Wala pang work.. nagstart palang akong maghanap tsaka nag-aaral ako ngayon kaya medyo lumalawak na rin ang network.

sis, exam siya to test how's your english. composed of 4 modules, listening, reading, speaking, writing. 2 klase siya. isang general at academic. general usually ang kinukuha ng mga migrant-wannabees pero merong mga professions (nurses yata...dunno kung ano pa yung iba) na academic dapat ang kunin.

ielts are graded in band scores.. 0 to 9. depende sa country at type of visa ang requirement. each band may katumbas na score. merong minsan ang hinihinga ay minimum of 6.0 in each module, yung iba naman 7. meron ding minsan ang need mong Over-all band score ay 6 / 7. depende eh.

sa akin, nagpa-enlist ako for an exam 1.5 month before the exam date, para ma-pressure akong mag-review. an hour a day ay okay na. yun nga lang, listening/reading/writing lang na practice ko. yung speaking, i make it a point na kausapin lang palagi mga ka-officemate kong native english speakers.

here's the best review site na nakita ko. http://www.ielts-exam.net/. at least, nakakapag-review ako kahit sa office kapag nagta-type lang ako, nasa background yung listening audio para maging familiar sa accent nila.

acceptabke na iyon basta make sure lang na may certificate or diploma ka na galing sa school,kasi iyon talaga ang kailangan nila,iyon ang tinatawag na "special skills." kahit nga yung pagiging bilingual considered as special skills na eh,pero mas maganda basta pag pumunta ka dito dalhin mo lahat ng diploma/certificate mo sa lahat ng training fields mo.
