Going back to the optician today to have my nosepads adjusted, I get eyelash smudges sometimes

nung nagpagawa ng lens yung hubby ko dun sa paterno st, nagpapalit ako nung nosepad sa glasses ko free lang 

feeling ko those eyeglasses suppliers owe me kasi parang nagppromote ako ng products nila for free.. hehe.. just kidding

I had mine changed and adjusted for free..the lady asked 'you bought your glasses here didn't you?" of course I said I did not then she said it was ok and whisked me away.  That as great considering that same morning I went to the shop where I bought my lenses and they scratched the AR coating of the left lens when they adjusted the left nosepad.   Now they're having new lenses made for me.

@ sis gingersnap -- raon has more electronics shops than glasses. ang tabi-tabing shops ng glasses nasa evangelista street, right about where it intersects with paterno street. It's the area just behind quiapo church.

Just went to Paterno today. Nakabili ako ng orig Vogue signature frame, 1500, ang ganda ng fit. Suggestion nung optometrist kailangan ko na daw 2 glasses if I needed to have one when I used the computer, or double vision. E ayoko pa ng double vision kasi feeling ko mahihilo ako. Babad kasi ako sa laptop ko, almost 9 to 12 hours daily. Suggest niya ulit, she can have the old glasses have the reading grade, tapos yung new frame, yun yung pang distance ko. Approve ko na syempre. Una sabi nya 4k daw. Sabi ko, ang mahal naman doc, wala na bang tawad? Di kasya budget ko e - tapos pa-doe eye effect . Di ko tinantanan hanggang di binaba yung price. Finally, pumayag sya - P2300 O di ba?

Wait, there's more. May freebies pa nga pala yung pinagawa ko. Nilagyan na ng bagong nose pads, binigyan pa ako ng new case for both, then they put it in a cute bag with the logo of the store. Natuwa talaga ako kasi I thought it was really worth it going there.

Tama sa quiapo nga yung murang mga eyeglasses.  Until now my lolo still has a shop there na nagbebenta ng glasses, pero hindi yata modern mga eyeglasses nila.  Napaglumaan na yata haha

Just wondering what you guys think about rimless glasses? Nakakatanda ba sya? I'm only 21 and I already look mature for my age, ayoko sana magmukhang mas mature.

Also, okay na ba yung 2k with multicoated lens?

actually sis patstarr rimless glasses will make u look older... I've tried that, and it made me look older... though malinis talaga siya tignan and magaang isuot... yung 2k, ok na yun.. mura na yun... pero yung mga salamin ko? 200-500 lang yung mismong frame lang binabayaran ko at di branded... Si kuya nagpapagawa...

^ how about semi rimless? Hirap kasi maghanap ng bagay sayo na shape/color etc. Thick-rimmed kasi glasses ko now, and mejo off i-wear with corpo clothes for my ojt. Mukha akong artist na siniksik sa corpo.

Pede rin.... Kaso hindi ko pa kasi nakikita frame ng mukha mo... Pero that would look corpo... just avoid wearing gold na color or silver... That would maje u look old.. Try something na color maroon para feminine...

I bought my recent pair of eyeglasses sa Ideal Vision Outlet Shop sa Puregold Libertad. I have the black geek style one, yung plastic kasi nagrarashes ako sa ibang glasses lalo na bakal. Konting dikit sa face ko, nagsusugat na. I was able to buy it for P1k only.

kakabili ko lang kanina ng eyeglasses.. 175 ang grado ko at di ko na talaga kaya na walang salamin.
I got mine 2.2k naka MC lense na sa local optical clinic na pinuntahan ko.. di kilala ang brand ng frame pero mukhang sturdy naman kaysa yung mga class A na offer ng optha ko.. Prada, LV etc.. nasa 2k lang ang frame.. parang di totoo eh.. may class A ba na frames?

san ba maganda? madami kasi ako nadidinig na madaming opital shops na puro class A lang daw tapos they selling it halos ka price.. sayang naman ang pera kung di naman pala totoo. diba?

^AFAIK, walang binebentang prescription glasses sa Rustan's. Puro sunglasses ang benta dun.

May nakita akong ganyan pero red (ata) yung sa gilid instead na blue sa Almeda Optical in Glorietta. Kasi pinasubok yan sa akin nung naghahanap ako ng magaan na square frame.

Go to reputable optical shops para sigurado ka na tunay yung mabibili mo.
