all about wheatgrass juice

I first tried wheat grass juice sa isang chinese resto, wala kasi silang ibang juice  naghesitate pa nga ako nung una pero pagkainom ko umorder pako ng isa lol. Pero diko maalala yung brand name at yung flavor.
May nakikita ako sa SM Fairview Annex na stand ng wheatgrass. Pero parang wala masyado pumapansin hehe. 
 Yung sinasabi nyong magaan sa feeling,nakaka pupoo ba ito?  Hindi kasi regular ang bowel movement ko,at okay din yung nakakapayat since i need to lose fats din

I just bought the 5+1 pack in watsons,270 Php cya kala ko nakamura ko.. then i passed by their stall..which i didn't know merun pala sila dun..they have 10+1 for 333 PhP lang... so if you do the math..sobrang mas makakamura if you buy it directly from them. sana umeffect cya..

magaspang cya, pero if you buy the one with honey ok cya, parang milk tea yung lasa nya, tolerable but not something to fancy in taste.

anong brand pinaka effective sa wheatgrass? and dapat ba yun powder type, etc? gusto ko itry.

I saw an add of Boy Abunda sa TV merun wheatgrass in capsule which is 1,000 pesos for 60 capsules good for 1 month. Kaya lang its capsule mas better pa din i believe ang iniinom directly mas safe.

mga sis, sabi ng friend kong maraming alam sa herbs, walang tatalo sa fresh herbs. So don't buy manufactured stuff kung makakadaan ka naman sa supermarket that sells them fresh. Each time I go to Landmark Makati I see live wheatgrass for sale---though I never bought kasi I don't need it. I just drink Lagundi tea or eat fresh green leafy vegies to get more alkaline.

my friend said wheatgrass is alkaline to the body. it heals by counteracting our very acidic diet (due to carbs, white sugar, syrup, meat/chicken, deep fries, baked stuff etc). the body--lalo na the liver--demands blood pH to be slightly alkaline. Gamot daw 'to sa stroke, hypertension at apnea. Napipigil daw ng wheatgrass na lumapot ang dugo.

Para gumawa ng wheatgrass tea, magboil ka daw ng isang dahon or stalk habang green pa. Huwag inumin after 6 kasi baka mahirapan ka matulog.

Puede ka rin daw magtanim ng wheatgrass. Kailangan ng maraming sunlight at daily dilig.

pwede ba sa buntis ang wheatgrass? which is better wheatgrass or barley?

tootsing, mas alkaline ang wheatgrass kaysa barley, which means it can counteract an acidic diet (the normal Filipino diet) more easily. a pH-balanced diet is definitely good for all, kasi yun ang hinahanap ng liver natin. use fresh wheatgrass rather than bottled ones. malaki ang risk na ma-overdose ka ng alkaline kung commercial preparations ang gagamitin mo. kapag sobrang alkaline naman ang katawan ikaw ay magkaka-headache, o vertigo, o sipon, o sore throat, o flu... mga gano'ong sakit.

^where do you get fresh wheatgrass sis and do you buy it ready to drink na? or you still have to make the juice yourself?

hi stylishmomy. I see wheatgrass for sale there in Landmark Makati. The plants in their boxes are located very near the entrance to the basement supermarket; go to the entrance near the vegetables. I never bought them. I don't drink wheatgrass tea because it's alkalinity is just equal to Lagundi tea which I can buy off the shelf. Besides wheatgrass is rather pricey.

May whitening effects ba yung wheatgrass? Pansin ko kasi after taking it for 1 month,naglighten talaga skin ko,even lighter kesa nung nag gluta ako. I am taking Easy Pha-Max brand.

^AFAIK, wala naman. It just cleanses the toxins from your body siguro kaya nagkaganun. How many times do you drink it in a day ba?
