Book/books na hindi nyo matapos-tapos basahin?

Same here, hindi ko matapos ang Eat, Pray, Love. Hanggang Italy lang ako. Pero try pa din tapusin, sayang ang pera!

Natapos ko na rin sa wakas. may nanghiram kasi eh, naisip ko if hindi ko tatapusin before ko ipahiram, hindi ko na matatapos. hahaha aun, konting tiis na lang, medyo ok naman ang Indonesia eh.

Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by Nicholas D. Kristof amd Sheryl WuDunn. I'm very visual when I read and I cannot take how some women from all places  in the globe suffer too much oppression, rape, discrimination and battery. Dang!

fyi: it's a documentary book. Aghhh

Eat Pray and Love. Pinipilit kong tapusin at pinipilit kong magustuhan pero hindi ko magawa. I got through Italy and ngayon nasa India na ko pero hindi ko pa rin matapos. Although, pag binasa ko, nakakayanan ituloy pero once na nabitiwan ko na ang hirap pulutin ulit para basahin. :-D

Nag post ako sa isang thread, although I realized na parang medyo off-topic, so dito na pala sya bagay.

I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love... it's boring me, I don't know. Ang dami nagagandahan (I haven't watched the movie yet).

I haven't reached the India part, I'm still in Italy, and I must agree, it's such a struggle to finish a chapter.

sis jaded1025, fave ko naman yang dracula. mahaba lang talaga siya pero worth it naman. yung pride and prejudice, i agree medyo boring siya pero worth it din basahin kasi nakakakilig talaga. what i do sa mga boring na books is i read one or two chapters at a time. magugulat ka nalang, tapos mo na yung book.

back to topic. ako, yung brunner & suddarth's medical and surgical nursing. nakagraduate na ako at naging nurse, hindi ko pa rin siya matapus-tapos. saka eat, pray love pala. nasa second page pa lang ata ako nung itinigil ko ang pagbabasa.

^^ Don't watch the movie if you haven't finished the book. Mas maganda ang book ng Eat, Pray Love kaysa sa movie. It can be a little bit dragging. I suggest, you don't have to finish it from start to end,. You can start sa "Love" part or sa "Pray" part. I picked it up and started reading sa " Pray" part when I felt I need the inspiration the most.
You don't have to finish it.

Ako, I can't seem to finish The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, sayang naman. I heard it was good. Ang haba kasi eh. ang kapal pa ng book.

^Oh, so pwede pala skip skip noh? Kaya lang parang chronological order ang pagkakasulat ng book kase may background story yung divorce nya diba?

Eat. Pray. Love.  din    i find it really dragging.  kaka-break lang namin ng fiance ko when i started reading it.  pagdating dun sa part na suicidal na siya binatawan ko na yung book.  sobrang na-depress din ako.    yung friend ko natapos na niya yung book maganda naman daw.

Brida by Paulo Coehlo. 1 taon na yun, hindi ko parin magawang tapusin. LOL!

balak ko pa naman ding basahin yang Brida. sabagay, i was never a fan of paulo coelho. nabasa ko yung by the river piedra niya at the alchemist and i was like "ok. next."actually, tinapos ko lang yung dalawang yan just for the sake of finishing. peace fans!

 jamie_0117: Better pag sunod-sunod. May mamimiss ka kase kapag inuna mo yung gitna or huli. Book is better than the film. Yes dragging sya, but may humor part naman. In my case, na-curious ako whatever happened after the book (bilang memoir sya), so I googled it. Happy naman pala.

hindi sis. it depends sa taste mo sa books. personally, i don't find The Alchemist that great. gusto ko pa nga magbasa ng ibang books niya. maybe yung Eleven Minutes o Veronika Decides to Die. bakasakaling magustuhan ko.

another book pa pala na di ko matapus-tapos is yung the quest by lyn stone. harlequin pocketbook siya. it's boring me. bigay lang siya ng friend ko. she herself never bothered to finish it.
