hay naku kahapon super sad.. nung pauwi na kami, napagdecidan na contis na lang kami kakain at hayun, dumerecho na kami sa serendra.. kaso kainis di na kami tinanggap at til 11pm lang daw sila.. 10:30 pa lang naman nung dumating kami kaso yun nga nag last order na daw sila at for take-out na lang.. hay.. deprived ito.. hehe.. kailangan mkapagcontis this weekend.

was at the BF branch kanina, bought some leche flan. masarap din, at 95php each.

is their strawberry shortcake good?  looks interesting.  pati yung moist chocolate cake. has anyone tried these?

^ yup choco overload cake is from conti's too... it's layers of choco mousse, choco cake & brownie-like bottom crust!

oh yeah, I like their turtle pie too! what I do is usually order it for take-out then chill it sa freezer at home before I eat it. Yummm!

chocolatefever, i've tried a number of conti's cakes/pies so i'll give you my comments on each of them (you may click on the name of the cake to view a photo)--

strawberry cake - tasted so ordinary; i didn't like the strawberry preserves and the cake itself was dry.

mango bravo - i'm not a fan of it but it's worth a try.

mango cream cake - better than the strawberry cake, more subtle than the mango bravo but for me red ribbon's mango cake is even yummier.

moist chocolate cake - not the best chocolate cake around but it's quite good.

turtle pie - this is so far one of the best from conti's for me. i love the sweet-salty-buttery taste combination of the chocolate and the toffee. the walnuts also tone down the sweetness, but my relatives think the pie is  overly sweet.

of course, taste is very subjective.

i think we have the same preferences.  i'm not a big fan of the mango bravo either, though a lot of people rave constantly about it.

because of your review (and the photo) i will definitely be trying the turtle pie!

^^ lemonade, nakakagutom yung pics na you posted. we've tried the mango cream cake rin before, someone gave it to mom as a gift.. light lang sya & tastes good naman. i haven't tried red ribbon's pa kasi

wala bang new cake products yung Conti's?

^^ sis alam ko they have assorted pastries in a box, siguro you can buy one so you can try everything like what lemonade said, taste is subjective.. hehe baka di namin type but you might find them yummy..

i miss the chicken pie...
