mas nadadalian ako sa charts instead yung instructions.
kahit ibang languages basta may chart ang dali.

^ Actually, marami nga sa internet. My favorites are blogs authored by Latina women because they scan Japanese books and post it in the internet. Great blogs that provide are:

Chie Crochets (She provides free Japanese patterns) http://chiescrochetandknitting.blogspot.com/

Crochet and Other Stuff (I love her patterns and her rendition of foreign patterns since she uses materials that are available locally) http://mycrochetstuff.blogspot.com/

In National Bookstore before, there were many Japanese crochet books worth P89 only. They come in full color with diagrams. People often ignore these books because it is in Japanese, but actually Japanese crochet is done through symbols and diagrams kaya worth na rin [textspeak!] purchase.

My mom taught me how to crochet, and in gradeschool we had to learn it too. I've helped my mom make bedspreads (Granny squares) and I've made a few table runners using various patterns. It's pretty fun and it's easier to understand directions for crochet patterns than for knitting patterns (IMO only, some may disagree).

my mom knows how to do the intricate designs, ayun ninakaw lang ng mga maids her handiwork

ako din im lemming for a crocheted bedspread, matagal ko na pangarap yan although it seems so long if I make it myself!

I'l study muna then learn how to crochet covers to protect the patina handles of my LV

where do you but your crochet hooks? Meron kasi ako yung mga payat na hooks. I want to try to make the amigurumi's but it looks like i need a bigger hook for those patterns.

In my younger days (haha obvious na matanda na), na-adik ako sa crochet. Ngayon wala nang time.

My mom used to crochet too. She made our bed covers and crocheted table runners at home.

not so sure where crochet lessons are offered but you can ask form craft stores like dreams in makati, crafts world in mega, etc. hopefully, they'll be of help.

hello sisters!

i recently started making amigurumi, but my problem is that I don't know where to get the polyfill used to stuff them. Right now I'm stuffing them with cotton balls. Would any of you know where to buy the polyfill?

naku sis, eto rin problem ko noon. kung saan saan ako naghanap ng polyfill when i created shifu, my super adorable amigurumi cat! eto link ng pics nya if u wanna see, http://hooknyarns.multiply.com/photos/album/10/shifu

sa divisoria ka talaga makakabili ng murang polyfills/fiber fills. pero kung gusto mo ng medyo accessible meron sa SM. not sure kung lahat ng SM meron pero ang natry ko ay sa SM megamall. punta ka sewing section, 2nd or 3rd floor ata. basta malapit sya sa section ng mga ladies accessories. they also sell yarns there. another alternative store ay crafts world, sa megamall din. nasa dulo sya ng mega A, near toy kingdom. yun nga lang mas mahal ang nabibili sa mall at flat, parang sheet of polyfill hindi katulad ng nabibili sa divisoria na same as yung laman ng mga stuff toys or unan, hindi flat.

gr 5 ako nung natuto akong mag-gantsilyo. marunong din kasi mother ko. dami din naming nagawa. naghahanap ako ng crochet magazines sa mga booksale noon. nung mag-asawa ako at hindi pa ko nagbubuntis, natuto pa kong gumawa ng damit ng 11 1/2 size dolls at nakapagbenta pa ko. kaso nung nagka-baby na kami, hindi na ko nakapaggantsilyo. balikan ko na nga ngayon kasi may mga dolls din mga anak ko na pangit na ang mga damit

and salamat sa tips kung saan makakabili. i was thinking divi rin eh, so i asked an officemate to buy na lang for me since di pa ko makapunta ngayon ng divi. try ko rin sa SM mamaya (sana meron sa SM makati).

try ko rin magpost ng works. right now, practice mode lang ako at pinamimigay mga prototypes to friends. BIG THANKS ULIT!

im glad u liked my shifu, hehe.
nakaka-addict talaga ang amigurumi and very satisfying pag nakatapos ka na. yun nga lang you have to make sure na i-exercise parati ang hand kasi medyo nakakangalay sa kamay ang amigurumi compared sa normal crocheting.

can't wait to see your amigurumi sis!
