hello, ask ko lang if anyone of you already invited your parents to come to canada (visitor visa) and got approved.


how much [textspeak!] proof of funds ng parents nyo? my parents doesn't have any savings at all and I was kinda worried kasi its going to be obvious na nilagay lang sa bank account nila [textspeak!] pera all of a sudden. [textspeak!] kasi dun 6 months ng bank statement (if atm card) [textspeak!] gamit nila.


I am just going to invite just my mom. So, I was wondering how much kaya [textspeak!] proof of funds na kailangan. She already got denied before kasi gusto nya kasama [textspeak!] sister ko, ang proof of funds nya lang sa bank account nya is 50k lang and as i've said bigla rin lang sumulpot un kasi bigay din lang sa mom ko [textspeak!] money.

mga sis eto naman ang case ko, amg planning to apply to canda nasa planning stage pa lang naman di pa concrete.

meron kasi ditong immigration consultant its united star alliance meron na ba sa inyong nakapag avail ng service nila?

mejo mura kasi kung sa kanila ako kukuha, 50k lang yung "service charge" nila with money back guarantee pag di ka natuloi.

nagtataka lang ako kasi mejo mabilis daw ang processing nila within 6months to 1 year makakaalis ka na raw.

ang first step nila is to post your resume sa job agency sa canada pag meron interested dun pa lang ipa process yung mga papeles pero ang visa is for permanent resident.

Have you guys heard the news na tatanggalin na daw yung privilege for caregivers to apply for permanent residence?  Parang magiging contract workers na lang sila.  After ng contract, either balik ka na ng pinas or renew the contract.  Im not sure when this will be effective pero kawawa yung mga nag aral at mga nasa pinas pa hoping na magandang stepping stone 'tong caregiving program.

^No. Baka balitang kutsero. The best source is the HRDC and/or CIC website and so far wala pa namang announcement. This is what I found when, actually:

sis, i'm a nurse in Saskatchewan, Canada. apply ka muna as nurse any province dyan sa pinas, try mo lang.. mas mahirap yang gagawin mo. sayang din yung degree mo and yung panahon. you can check www.srna.org para malaman mo kung kahit 6 months lang pwede na umalis..

He makes $1850 a week as an insulator at an Edmonton-area plant before being laid off. He is one of hundreds of foreigners who have lost their jobs in recent weeks due to recession. His employer deducted airfare and supply costs from his final paycheque and was left with $6.44.

By law, foreigners are first to lose their jobs in the economic downturn and the last to be rehired. Employers can't hire foreign workers if any qualified Canadians are available.

Luckily, one Filipina who is a member of a Filipino Seventh-day Adventist church took him and three others into her tiny one-bedroom apartment until they can get back on their feet.

They are desperately hunting for anything, no matter how menial, to try to keep going. With the jobless rate climbing, there's only a small chance foreign workers will be able to find anything before their visas run out and they're deported.
