Sis kami nung nagsubmitt kami ng requirements for the first time and after 2 years same lang yung binigay namin sa agency,pina update lang namin yung balance certificate sa emirates bank addressed to canadian embassy.

hi girls! ask ko lang, may direct employer ako sa vancouver and they want to hire me. they've already submitted for an LMO kaya lang daw since it's recession, madami pang kailangan i justify. Is there anyway we can help dito? i really want this to work kasi. I mean, to speed up the process?

^mahirap this time, sis. since its recession, mas gusto ng government na i-prioritize ng mga company ang canadians, kasi siyempre may mga canadians na na lay-off sa jobs nila. as much as possible, minimal ang pagkuha nila ng foreign workers lately. kung pwede ibigay sa canadian ang work, dun nila ibibigay.

sa sisses na nasa canada, anybody fro grande prairie? sa previous thread parang may sis na from grande prairie eh. yung close friend ko kasi lilipat na siya dun for the reason of better opportunity para ma-pnp/ainp (sa current job niya kasi hindi inooffer yung pnp/ainp), eh wala siyang kilala dun. baka may sisses dyan from that area, reply po kayo. thank you

hi sis paula. bakasyon ka pa ulit ng pinas. malapit na siguro ang approval ng residency mo. si hubby mukhang malabo pang manominee. recession kasi. anyway plan ko nga ako na lang mag apply thru skilled worker category. pasok kasi un course ko sa NOC list na narelease ng Embassy.

^sis actually im almost done na. submit na lang ng passport, lagay na nila yung immigrant thingy, then pagbalik ko. landed immigrant na.

This is regarding the PROOF OF FUNDS requirement when applying under the FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER category.

I'm a bit concerned about this because we currently do not have 1 MILLION PESOS in CASH (which is an estimate of the amount we are required to have based on the size of our family) readily available in the bank. We do have more that amount but in other forms, specifically in the form of REAL ESTATE.

In that case, how do we go about this once they ask for official Proof of Funds (cash)? We recently submitted out application so we expect that if it is successful (hopefully!), they will start asking for the other requirements such as bank statements and whatnot.

Any advice regarding this, please? Thank you in advanced.

^I think the proof of funds should be in cash. The reason why they ask for proof of funds is to make sure that you'll have money to spend when you get here. Mataas kase ang standard of living dito. Yung hinihingi nilang proof of funds, pwede nyong magastos yon in a few months. Since FSW category ang in-applyan nyo, pagdating nyo landed immigrant na agad kayo pero hindi ibig sabihin may trabaho kayo agad unlike that of working visa so basically they're just making sure that you have enough money to last a few months or so while looking for a job. In short hindi kayo magiging pabigat sa canadian gov't.

Sa case kase namin yung pera lang talaga sa bangko ang ginawang proof of funds so ang ginawa ng mama ko nilista nya yung bank name & address, depositor`s name, account number tsaka kung magkano yung laman nung account. Sa huli in-emphasize lang yung total in canadian dollars. Nilagyan na lang ng: As of `Date Today` $1 cdn = P40 so total amount is $xx.xxx cdn.

^ I see. In our case, since we do not have 1 million (in PHP, an estimate of the amount we need since we are a family of 5) in cash in the bank at the moment, what's the best way to go about it? Selling some properties is one option, or mortgage. Any advice...?
