sis hanapin ko yung calling card na binigay sakin... pm ko sayo...actually nag-apply na ako at nagbayad na rin nung initial payment na 1k AED sabi 2-3 mos daw may job offer na...so by january expect ko na may sagot na...

i guess they meant na within 5-6months you'll be able to hear from them. yung 550, thats the processing fee. you have to pay another 490 for the right of permanent residence and then a couple hundreds more for medical, plus yung mailing pa ng documents from canada to manila, everytime you need to submit something. so give it a budget of 2k for everything.

mga how long does the approval of the provincial nominee program take? from the time you submitted all the applications to the visa?

mas mahaba ang time ngayon, since backlogged daw ang immigration. from pnp to application for pr, about a year to a year and a half.

Im currently working in Bahrain, malapit na magexpire yun VISA ko by July 2009 and I don’t have plans to renew again. My option is to apply in Canada since I have a cousin there. Ano po ba ang pwede nyo isuggest para madali ako makarating sa Canada and work there also.

^where sa canada yung cousin mo? is your uncle/aunt there also? are they located sa province?

if yes, you could apply through Provincial Nomination Program. google it for more info. but i dont think you could make it in time for July. it takes 1 to 1-1/2 years for it to be approved. i think ganyan naman lahat for immigrants/working visa. not that fast.

^It's probably dollars... my cousin is studying in university now and his tuition is around $7k per sem.

Oh and I read somewhere that for children born in 2008/2009, by the time they're in college...they would be needing around $70k to finish.
