May question ako Regarding Provincial Nominee Program sa Calgary?

My bro-in-law kasi is working there contract worker nag agency sya, after 5 months lang pinaapply na sila ng PNP. Luckily he did pass the exam parang ESL yata if im not mistaken.

Then advice sila after 6 months babalik sila to check kung may naiipon sila at pwede na sponsoran ang family.

So bali ngayon talagang todo ipon si bayaw.

My question is may dinedeny ba sila kapag PNP? and what usually is the ground to fail or to pass?

If na approved how long processing bago maisponsoran ang family?

hello, para sa mga SATHM there and anyone who has info, just a few questions if you could help me.

im 3 months pregnant and im a stay at home wife.  when i give birth, my husband and i are planning to go home to the philippines for a couple or so months, for baptism, be with family, etc.

my question is, since i wont be taking my maternity/parental leave, i understand he can take the parental leave.  but since EI is paying, i am not sure if he has to report or something.  kasi yung cousin ko ginawa, when she gave birth, twice na, she goes home for 6 months.  i know if EI you have to report every couple of weeks or so, but sabi naman ng pinsan ko that's if you're using EI if you were laid off, or out of work.  pero since its for parental leave, baka pwede umalis?

any help would be great!

1. where do you take this test?
2. how much ang IELTS fee?
3. is it really needed by the canadian embassy?
4. is it necessary to attend an IELTS reviewer class pa? how much ito?
5. if the validity of the score is only for 2 years, then it is better to just take it within the last 2years of your 5yr wait. Tama ba yun??

Here's my answers for your questions:

1.  where do you take this test?
Depends on your location sis.  There are a couple of test centers in the Philippines, if you are still there.  I added the link about this below.

3. is it really needed by the canadian embassy?
No sis.  There are some who were not required by the embassy to have this examination.  As long as meron kang mapakitang proof that the medium for teaching was in English from your college, okay na yun.  Pero minsan, hindi ito ino-honor sa Canada.  So if you want to be on the safe side, mag-take ka na ng exam.

4. is it necessary to attend an IELTS reviewer class pa? how much ito?
I don't think so.  Pwede ka na rin mag-self study.  Maraming mga reviewers ang available, and I think that is enough.

5. if the validity of the score is only for 2 years, then it is better to just take it within the last 2years of your 5yr wait. Tama ba yun??
Korek.  Usually, up to five years ang processing ng visa.  So kung kukuha ka kagad ng exam, masasayang lang.  Hindi mo naman ito pwedeng ipa-reactivate, you have to take the exam again kapag nag-lapse na ang 2-year period nya.  And ia-advise ka naman ng agency kung kailangan mo or kung kailan ka kukuha ng IELTS.

mga sis may tanong lang ako. hope masagot niyo agad. yung auntie ko kasi na nasa alberta canada pinapa aral niya ako ng caregiver. dahil nga ang mag sponsor sa akin ay yung husband ng auntie ko na canadian. sa tingin niyo ba pag halimbawa tapos na ako mag aral ng caregiver at mag process na ako ng papers ko para mag apply na sa canada? sa palagay niyo 100% sure na kaya na makarating agad ako ng canada? kasi iniisip ko baka hanapan pa ako sa embassy ng canada ng work experience. baka hindi pumayag ang embassy na caregiver lang ang experience ko.gusto ko lang makasiguro kung sigurado na talaga na makakarating na ako ng canada or hindi.

sabi kulang daw ako ng 2 points to qualify for federal... pero may mga kilala naman friends ko na lesst than 67 points na nakaalis at nasa canada na...

oo nga mga sis, grabe maningil ang mga agency... baka may alam kayong website na pwedeng puntahan... ako kasi sa hotel ang work ko, may binigay sakin friend ko na website kaso wala naman hotel jobs doon...pero sabi nya doon daw maraming naha-hire ng direct:   www.wehire.ca

hi mga sis!!! do you know kaya any website where i can find work in canada direct basis. i mean, hindi dadaan sa mga agency? i really want to push my plans of going or working there bringing along my family. ayoko naman kasi dumaan pa sa agency kasi naman ang bongga ng mga fees. least choice ko is to apply for immigrant nga lang di ko naman kasi planong magretire sa canada sa haba ng processing time, gusto ko talaga magwork dun for my family.....

sis, ako din, we paid an agency here in the phils for 100k din and then ok na sinumbit na papers namin sa canadian embassy and we also got our letter stating our reference# and that our wait is for 60 months nga. it's been 2.5yrs already. tagal noh! buti pa diyan mas mabilis!
