I think they approve depende sa rason. Usually yung rason na mag-aalaga ka ng maysakit or ng bata, naa-approve kahit walang sufficient funds. I invited my mother to come for a visit noong 2004. I think nasa 100K lang ang laman ng bangko. I stated in the invitation letter that I will be giving birth and I need a help for a few months. Ang tanong lang sa kanya bakit pupunta dito tapos nakuha na kaagad ang visa within the day.

To those who are immigrating to Canada, consider moving to Alberta, daling maghanap ng trabaho. When I came here in 2003, it took me two weeks to get an office job. Although I don't have any Canadian experience, I was hired as an Office Clerk in the local Real Estate Board here. I stopped mid-2004 because I was having a hard time due to pregnancy. After 4 years of being a bum, I decided to go back to work. First resume I sent (actually, I dropped it off since it's only 10 mins away from our house) was last Tuesday, they called Wednesday for an interview yesterday afternoon. They called up this morning and asked if I'm still interested and if I can start on Monday. I accepted the offer. I will be working as an Accounts Receivable clerk. I wasn't really expecting that I'll get the job because I'm a graduate of a non-business course, I don't have corporate experience in A/R. Di nga lang kataasan ang hourly rate but I accepted it kasi wala naman akong experience sa A/R (except that I do the bookkeeping of our business), malapit sa bahay namin and I like the hours (8-4:30pm).

So goodluck po sa lahat ng gustong mag-immigrate sa Canada.

^sis prettypurple8...i dont have that large amount of bread sa savings ko...hmm pero sagot din nung nag invite sakin expenses ko...when did you apply? so i need to give them my itnerary pa? how long have u waited for their decision? medyo malabo nga yung pag deny nila sayo ah...

it says in the requirements list na kelangan ng itinerary eh...nung mga march yun...mga after 2-3weeks ko inantay pagbalik ng papers ko...

my mom applied for tourist visa nung 2005 to attend my aunt's wedding pero she was denied. almost 300k (around 290k) ang laman nung sinubmit na copy ng bank statement but still she was denied saying na insufficient funds daw.

see? ang labo diba..magkano ba gusto nilang gastusin natin sa bansa nila?...hay...nakaka frustrate...

Hey everyone! Long time no post.

I just got here in Burnaby, B.C. this week. Ok naman, still adjusting to the weather and to just about everything. Di pa ko super nahohomesick, but there are random bouts of loneliness from time to time.

Kasi I'm in dire need of friends! I'm 23 and most of my relatives and cousins are younger than me so I haven't really spent time with anyone around my age group. I'm yet to get a job pa since I'm still trying to adjust to the place. Any kind souls want to show me around? I'm yet to figure out how to use the bus or the Skytrain. Super nakakapanibago.

hi sis paula.  how are you?  ask ko sana ano naging experience sa port of entry (vancouver) before magrant work permit mo. nung first time mo magland sa canada.  sa thursday na kasi flight ni hubby. thanks in advance

nung first entry ko? wala naman. hindi naman matanong yung officer kasi i presented naman all my documents. yung second nakaka-kaba.  yung sa customs declaration kasi. nilagay kasi namin ng tita ko na wala kaming dala na kahit anong food, para wala ng hassle. syempre kasi baka buksan pa nila eh. makita pa na ang daming kelangan ibayad ng tax (kasi todo shopping kami sa pinas). yun nga, kabado kami kasi dami namin dala na food eh. meron pa kong 2 can ng taba ng talangka.  ;)sabi namin wala talaga, as in. tapos nung i was waiting for my luggage, yung couple dun sa tabi ko na nakuha na luggages nila, bigla na lang nilapitan ng isang officer at inusisa yung mga dala nila. as in tanong ng tanong yung officer about sa mga dala nila. pati yung watch na suot nung  guy tinanong kung sa pinas ba binili, yung bag nung babae, kabado sila pareho , ayun, pinapasok sila dun sa office ng customs. nagmadali na kami ng tita ko  baka kasi malapitan pa kami. randomly lang kasi yung pagcheck nung babae eh. tipong kung sino lang matripan niya lapitan.

^Wow, talaga sis? Kasi kami nagtaka nga kami, after dun sa immigration, di na kami nagcustoms. Medyo weird nga eh. Pinapass lang yung declaration tapos diretso labas na. As in yung mga security guards lang nadaanan namin. Di talaga kami nakapasok sa customs counter/office. Kaya ayun, medyo naguluhan kami. Feeling tuloy namin we missed a step.

dapat ba valid lahat ng docs if you want to apply for working visa sa canada? kahit walang experience sa field na aapplayan like sa fastfood, ibackground check pa ba? mahigpit ba embassy ngayon sa pagbibigay ng working visa kahit may employer na sa canada? bakit madedeny pa if complete naman mga docs? if deny may tatak ba sa passport? thanks in advance!
