^^sis joeceline, tourist visa yun sayo? Nun first time ko kasi pumunta ng Canada, invited kami ng dad ko ng aunt ko. One day lang inabot kasi wala pang appointment nun. Bale pumila kami in the morning for the interview then same day binigay sa amin yun passports namin with the visas. Now ata, need mo ng tumawag sa embassy to have your documents pick up at your place, then they will just send it back with the visa. Ganun kasi ginawa ko nun last namin biyahe. Di ko lang sure kung yun pa rin yun procedures.

^sis kiwi, kelan ka ngpunta ng canada? yes tourist visa, tumawag ako sa hotline nila i would have to schedule for the pick up of my documents and 10-15 days daw ang processing, no need to show up na sa embassy.

i am invited by a friend, do i have to send my family picture to support my ties here in the Philippines?

what are your personal documents na submit mo sa embassy? and do we need to get an airline ticket na ba? ok lang ba select ko dun sa form na multiple visa kahit ang invitation lang niya is on 18 Dec to 15 Jan lang?

thanks sis KiwI :0 Ang bilis pala kaso samn kasi sis Last year of May pa kMe kinasal ng hubby ko, however pgbalik kc nya dun nghanap pa kc sya ng new job so medyo natagalan, kasi daw prang hhingan daw ng embassy ng proof kng masusuport ako ng hubby ko, and then last week nung tumawag ulit hubby ko sa embassy prang hinhingan cya nung mga dati pa mga pictures and mga letters ko sa knya... ganun din ba fren mo sis? so where expecting na baka by dec pa or first month of next year pa punta ko dun...

mga sis, kasi im planning to visit my bestfriend sa alberta july or september next year, either kasi sa binyagan or birthday ng panganay nya... papasa kaya sa embassy as a reason yun para mabigyan ako ng temporary visa? ang worry ko rin kasi baka pag binigyan ako ng HR namin ng certificate of employment baka madeny ako dahil medyo maliit yung salary ko... hay. TIA!

can someone post their experiences in applying for a canadian tourist visa here?...parang ang weird kasi...my application was refused and i received a letter telling the possible reasons why it was denied...but the problem is...very general yung naka check dun sa letter...so i tried to send the embassy an email inquiring about the specific reason...kasi alang interview na nangyari...but they did not state in the letter kung may kulang ba kong docs or what...pero no reply pa rin until now...hay...so sad...clueless kasi ako...ganon ba talaga sila?

goodnews for those who have relatives sa alberta. your relatives can sponsor you na through the AINP. even mga cousins, aunts and uncles. medyo bad news lang is may quota sila for this project.

the person who invited me was actually a family friend...

i submitted all the requirements stated dun sa website ng embassy...bank statement, ITR, invitation letter, itinerary, approval letter from the company that i can take a 2-wk leave, COE, some docs for my assets like car and motorcycle--yun nga lang di ko pa kasi tapos bayaran mga to..so i submitted lang a photocopy of registration...kasi nasa bank pa lahat...

hay sis...until now medyo di pa rin malinaw ang lahat kung bakit ganon ang decision nila...pero i'm thinking din...baka sa savings account din...medyo konti pa lang kasi pera ko...pero sagot naman kasi ng nag invite sa kin lahat ng magiging expenses ko and bakasyon lang talaga ko dun...di man lang ako nabigyan ng chance ma-interview...

Hi sis actually ngapply n din ako before two times pa family friend din same reason din yung binigay nila sakin...so ginawa ko ng ask ako sa mga immigration consultant kung ano kailangn na requirements without telling them na nag apply na ko before first thing n sinabi nila is you need at least 300K na pondo for your bank statement...
pero ang alam ko pag relatives mo invite syo ok lang na mababa yung savings mo. yung po share ko lang...

i also consulted a travel agent...i was told na sana daw nilagay ng nag invite sa kin sa letter na ninong ko sya kaso pano naman yung baptismal cert ko diba...ala naman yung name nung tao dun...oh welll...

naku, i really want to go there...badtrip lang talaga...di man lang sinabe sa letter kung may kulang ba kong docs or what or dahil sa savings ko...

my mom applied for tourist visa nung 2005 to attend my aunt's wedding pero she was denied. almost 300k (around 290k) ang laman nung sinubmit na copy ng bank statement but still she was denied saying na insufficient funds daw.

^how long she intended to stay in canada? confused tuloy ako...you have all the necessary documents yet you get denied for such invalid reason
