mga sis, i discovered that maxipeel3 reduces dramatically keratosis pillaris. i just rub the affected area repeatedly, yong parang hinihilod. after the liquid dries, i apply eucerin.
in two days time, sobrang improvement talaga.

is chicken skin a form of skin asthma?

yes it is somehow related. Pag meron KP mostly may skin asthma but not in general kasi skin asthma is inherited. Like pag sa isang area lang, UA, elbows, knees then no history of allergies its not skin asthma. :)

I also have keratosis pilaris. Sa may arms ko. Sobrang visible kapag rainy season na natin or malamig. Pag summer na, ganun pa rin pero less na. Exfoliation lang daw regularly ang solution dito :/ as in lifetime na for us.

I have KP on both of my upper arms. I had this for 3 years and last year I found out that effective yung almond oil. I ended up buying L'occitane amande milk concentrate and amande supple skin oil. In just a week, my KP started disappearing. After a month's use, all of the KP om my arms disappeared. I apply the milk concentrate during the day and the supple skin oil at night. I use kojic acid soap when I take a bath as well as exfoliate with loofah. So there ...exfoliate and then moisturize with almond oil did the trick for me.

Joining.

I have keratosis pillaris since birth at lifetime ito. Cure ay imoisturize. Kaya avoid sa makakadry ng balat (whitening soaps), tapos always put lotion. Moringa-O2 soap "claims" na makakatulong ito sa may kp. Php 50 siya sa mercury drugs. Home remedy - coconut oil.

Meron ako sa upper arms, jaw, thighs, and back of thighs. Worst yung sa upper arms, pero nalelessen ko na yung appearance. Although hopeless na ako maging flawless kamay ko haha

First post. :)
Share ko lang experience ko. I had kP on my knees and arms when i was a kid,i tried un mga salicylic but to no avail it gotten worse. Ayun search search ng remedy, moisturizing talaga is the best solution,i used physiogel AI.now its gone na.:-)

Unfortunately, dahil mahilig nga ko magexperiment (guilty of trying anything new)..i tried the depilatory lotions on my underarms..and to my horrors..haha It got bumpier.eto talaga i tried all, even TCA, sensipeel (dahil mild daw), creams, lotion, diode LHR all.Wala na talaga. :'( my doctor and i assumed na foxfordyce siya (which is very rare) , so ayun went back to physiogel..not making it disappear but softening it naman. Ayun sometimes kasi people assume na kp basta bumpy. :D

Hi I want to join this topic since I'm on a mission of finding a good lotion for my chicken skin mostly on my legs and likod ng arms. Yung lotion na medyo nagpawala sa kanya is victoria secret but since because of parabens etc, i dont want to use it na. So im searching for a good body lotion. Hope this topic could help me.

Btw, lumabas lang siya because i started using papaya soap way back. and i guess hindi pala siya hiyang sakin. now my skin is so sensitive. :(

I also have chicken skin.. Sa braso. I'm so desperate to find effective soap or lotion or cream. Right now I'm just using j&j baby milk soap, umimpis ng konti. Pahinga muna sa mga harsh soap.

Last weeek paghaplos ko sa legs, I felt some bumps.. May ingrown hairs (?) basta buhok na ndi nakalabas hehe as in ang dami sa likod ng upper legs ko saka sa gilid ng lower legs, para tuloy ako my butlig butlig pag hinawakan, i dont know if chicken skin tawag dun? Tapos kinukutkot ko.. Pinapalabas ko lang.. I don't shave coz I only have fine hairs..

Anyway, I tried lulur scrub, hindi para sa ingrown, gusto ko lang.. To my amazement, nawala na sila .. Kuminis, ang galing.. To think very light lang yung "beads" sa lulur.. Try it girls :)

I have ingrown before sa ua, yung may parang butas, what fixed it was I had it cauterized.. :)
