i tried diff kinds, scrubbing, lotions, cream, derma soap, vco, laging bumabalik ang chicken skin. now someone i know told me magpa body peel, im not sure if effective

Prob ko din chicken skin  sa UA.. i tried mag peel nagka skin asthma ako sa UA sobrang kati * ok ata magpa laser ng underarm at least once a month after matapos na ang session. Nun nagpapa IPL laser treatment ako laki na help kaso ang mahal naman if continue monthly treatment.

i have this also. according sa derma, dapat daw moisturize lang palagi. try ko nga yung jergens smoothening lotion at j&j baby oil

Hi, paano ba malalaman kung "chicken skin" nga or "open pores"?

Problema ko kasi ito andami ko sa may shoulders kaya dyahe mag sleeveless.

Nakakaasar at nakakalungkot na.

Effective ba ang salicylic acid? May soap ba na ito ang main ingredient?

^pa-check ka sa derma. isang tingin pa lang nila, they know if its keratosis pilairs (KP) or more commonly known as "chicken skin". usually, they will prescribe Nutraderm lotion (mga P500). kailangan mo lang pagtiyagaan maglagay 2x a day. it will take months before you will see an effect.

another alternative is the Glytone KP kit but i heard its expensive (Php3.5k). Does anyone know kung saan nakakabili nito sa Phils.?

nagkaroon di ako ng chicken skin before as arms ko, I started using Vit E( butasin then i mix sa lotion) and Nivea lotion. Nawala na sya. Not sure kung gaano katagal ko ginawa, siguro mga 3 months din.
Pag ibang lotion kc mix ko Vit E sobra malagkit, Nivea lang good combi for me.

Hi mga sis! Ako rin prinescriban nito. Sino ang derma mo? And what variety of Akerat ang ginagamit mo? Yung Body Cream or yung Smoothing exfoliating?

hello mga sis! pa join ako since biktima din ako ng matinding chicken skin. i have it mostly sa arms and legs kaya nakaka insecure lalo nat a lot of my friends notice it. panget talaga huhuhu. anyho i've been reading a lot of articles about this and i came across one recommending "dry brushing" to help minimize the chicken skin issue. this is not a treatment ha, [textspeak!] based on what ive read recurring ang chicken skin talaga, kaya the dry brushing will be part of your regular routine. you can google it and read all the good benefits it can do for skin and body. its worth a shot since you wont be using any harmful chemicals on your skin. magstart palang ako this week..sana effective sya. ill keep you posted!

Keratosis Pilaris ang tawag dito. Meron ako nito sa arms and legs. Exfoliate and Moisturize kasi mga hair yan na hindi makalabas so need talaga magexfoliate.

^Sis yan ang ginagawa ko ngayon, dry brushing, kakasimula ko pa lang kaya no effects pa siya, saka unrefined shea butter. Talagang months pa bago makita result. Sabi kasi wala naman talaga gamot para dito, so maintain na lang tayo kung what works best for our skin.

Hassle talaga sa derma ko. She prescribes mga lotion na mamahalin and I wonder if effective kung maghanap na lang ng lotion na may salicylic/lactic acid or urea na component, yung pwede mabili lang sa mga grocery or drugstore. Mine is Akerat Body Cream, talagang for Keraosis-prone skin siya, but then 1,8 ang isang bottle! Aside from that kailangan ko rin daw ng Cetaphil Restoraderm Lotion, 1,7 per bottle. My god. Yung Akerat is made in France at sa derma ko lang yung nabibili. Yung Cetaphil imported rin.

May alam ba kayo na lotion with salicylic/lactic/urea na mas available?

Ayun natanggal na ulet the chicken skin. I exfoliate very lightly nalang with a face & body sponge then followed by a mild lotion. Sabi kasi ng derma ko panget din daw yung mga salt scrub sa skin kasi harsh daw masyado.

I showed her my Konjac sponge at sabi nya pwede daw dahil malambot yung textture.

i read somewhere na glycolic nakakaalis ng chicken skin. so i tried yung prescribed ng dermatoligist ko para dapat sa face. effective naman, nawala chicken skin sa arms (yung likod ng arms) ko.

lotion everyday helps prevent it din.

hello..sorry super late reply na busy sa kids hehe. Bumili ako sa Beauty Bar ng brush na may long handle with natural bristles, brand name is Earth Therapeutics. Meron din sa Body Shop pero lage out of stock. Not sure sa watsons if meron.

Im happy to say na effective sya. kuminis na [textspeak!] skin sa back ng arms ko and sa legs. Mga 70% of the bumps ng chicken skin nawala..YAY! Dapat talaga consistent para hindi rin daw bumalik. Hope this helps. :-)
