its a corticosteroid,its used usually for contact dermatitis,inflammation na super potent i remember my sister nagkaroon ng contact with halaman sa beach and sobrang kati yun yung pinrescribe but then dapat yung usage niya for a while lang talaga kasi may mga side effects,its also used for folliculitis, chicken skin pampaflat pero 2 weeks ko lang un ginamit..topical un..sa derma ko siya binili e..

corticosteroid (such as clobethasole, betamethasone) has steroids that's why it's not safe to use for a long time...

it's used to treat inflammation, arthritis - anything concerning the joints or bones... some use it to treat asthma, liver inflammation etc...

side effects: thinning of the skin, rounding of the face (which is a side effect of long term use of steroids)

better consult a dermatologist before using the said medicine... it's not recommended to buy it on your own... quite risky

yup sis sa derma lang kasi they have to diagnose kung its right for your condition..as for me recurring kasi e..pero if you have derma na you can ask her..kasi yung sakin mejo malala..and note i only used it for two weeks lang talaga and caution sakin kasi ngpapa lhr ako,ngiinduce siya ng hair growth sayang naman diba.

I have something called keratosis pilaris. Ang explanation ng derma saakin, nagkakaron ng plugs ang pores dahil sa keratin over production. Parang chicken skin or white bumps, na pag kinalikot ko, nagiging inflamed. I've had this on my arms, butt and thighs since I was a kid and I've tried everything! From peels, lotions, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, Glytone, vitamin A, Gluta shots and pills, etc etc etc. Strangely, my skin cleared up when I was pregnant so siguro related din sa hormones.

me too.. i already had lhr.. but there still bumps na hair follicles na di lumalabas. result is discolored yung areas na may ganun while the skin around it is so light.

tried tca peeling pero no effect din eh..

girls, do not use scrubs for your chicken skin. lalong dadami at magiging rough!

try Dermaveen. ask your derma about this lotion. australian made.

sa dami ko na try, yan lang naging effective.

^^sis, sang area ang concern mo? mine kasi sa ua. para siyang trap na hair follicles na di na lumalabas.kaya dark tignan kasi madami black spots (hair follicles) pwede kaya dermaveen don.. over the counter sis?

sis, i had it done years ago sa LFI at after i gave birth i continued sa Flawless.
yung dermako ngayon di rin mawari bakit mayhair follicles na ganon eh nagLHR na nga ako. she said na parang keratosis pilaris daw. i had tca with her pero wa epek, i need to come back para matarget niya talaga yung hair follicles. pero wala pa siyang sinabi before what to do next kung di umepekto yung tca

laser does lessen chicken skin but not drastically.. you may want to undergo chemical peel you may alternate it with diamond peel

hi bago lang ako dito, pero kasi nakikita ko posts niyo pag nagseasearch sa google, so naisip ko na rin mag register, anyway meron akong keratosis pilaris. actually di pa ako nagpapatingin sa derma kasi naisip ko sasabhin lang nila allergy lang and kung ano ano papabili sakin, so tinry ko mag research den ito nga, nalilito ako kasi parang 4 months ako gumagamit ng magic soap and den tumigil ako kasi nag dadry skin ko and den nag safe guard ako, tas after nung bigla akong tinubuan ng chicken skin, sakto kasi nun november na so palamig na and den, un nga so iniisip ko change of weather pero parang ang daming factors kasi nung [textspeak!] na un nag fifish din ako for 1 week which is first time ulit in 2 years, iniisp ko tuloy dahil ba sa sabon, fish or sa lamig then dumadami na siya, they say na pag may asthma ka may tendency na magka skin asthma ka din, so ang tanong ko, ano best soap/treatment for my case, [textspeak!] dr. kaufman ba na soap magiging hiyang kaya? nakakaiyak kasi talaga dumadami lang siya and ayaw mawala

ako rin sis, problem ko din yan meron ako both of my arms para cyang rashes butlig butlig ang panget panget tignan, tapos sa may legs malapit sa knee,  wala akong inaaply. hindi pa rin ako nagpapacheck up. baka makatulong tung thread nato.
