i had chicken skin sa upper arms ko dati. ewan ko kung san nanggaling, pero nawala when i used ricebran soap. di na bumalik.

i have those on the arms and legs. My derma prescribed Nutraplus Lotion. It somehow improved the chicken skin pero i think i need other treatments pa, kasi bumabalik din pag nag stop ako. Diamond peel at glycolic peel daw ang next option.

^I read somewhere there's no permanent cure for KP. Continuous dapat ang treatment.

I have 15% glycolic acid that I use for DIY glycolic peel, matry nga sa KP ko.

nalilito nga rin ako sa chicken skin. some say dapat iexfoliate since ang cause nun eh blocked hair follicles. then may nabasa ako kamakailan sabi naman wag daw i-scrub.

but based on experience nawala nung ginamitan ko ng exfoliating soaps. mula nung almost everyday na ako gumagamit ng exfoliating soap, pansin ko hindi na ako nagkakaroon ng chicken skin sa arms and legs.

^maybe what they mean is chemical exfoliation rather than manual exfoliation.

Almost 2 weeks ko na 'to ginagawa (experiment lang, ang mahal kase ng Glytone at Neostrata):
-Abonne milk lotion in the morning
-15% glycolic solution at night
-Abonne milk salt spa scrub 2x a week (super light scrubbing lang on the area)

So far, natutuyo na un bumps. Some became inflamed pero natuyo din after a few days. Super rough un area right now dahil nga sa dry bumps but I'm hoping once the skin heals, maging smooth na din. Then maintainance na lang so once or twice na lang un glycolic every week.

I might also change my lotion, di kase masyado moisturizing un Abonne. Still searching for an affordable lotion that has either urea or lactic acid, these 2 really help KP daw.

sakin naman before sa me buttocks area, super gaspang kakainis. yung feel na lagi akong kinkilabutan kahit naman hinde. i use to scrub it kala ko mawawala but lalo lang lumala. share ko lang, nawala sya when i started having my iv gluta shots. as in totally nawala and mas naging softer yung skin ko.

nagpawax ako last month. full leg wax. ok naman siya nung una, pero when the hair started growing back, my problem also started. nagkaron ako ng ingrown hair at chicken skin. dati super wala naman. nakakainis tuloy kasi it's rough nga.

hope umokey na tong chicken skin na to. try ko magexfoliate ng legs and see if it works. ano bang magandang exfoliant?

Anong yung IV gluta shots?

Tanong ko lang... Nakaapekto ba sa love life niyo chicken skin niyo?

sis, be careful w/ salicylic acid. If makati yung area na sinasabing chicken skin its not, it might be allergies & if its allergies lalong lalala sa salicylic. Acid yan sis dyan nasira skin ng bro ko we didnt know na allergy pala sya sa BHA or salicylic ayun nasunog skin nya. Nakakalito kasi talaga ang difference ng simple chicken skin with chicken skin w/ allergies.

amira magic cream worked for me, 2 or 3 uses lang, PROMISE!... may stretchmarks kase ako sa butt cheeks part dahil pumayat ako so nag-try ako. then nagulat ako, nagsmoothen siya and nawala din yung pagka chicken skin. if i remember it right, hnd magkakasunod na days yung pagkakagamit ko, 2 or 3 days ang interval - kung kelan ko lang maalala, haha. i apply it after taking a bath at night.

naka 6 applications na ako, take note - applications, not container, and result is kasing smooth ng butt ko yung legs ko
