^get a new one nalang if you have a good budget to spend. out dated na rin siguro specs ng lenovo mo with all the new netbooks and computers coming out and if its not an upgradable machine you'd be happier with a new one. but if super ok ka pa with what you're using and your not bummed by speed and other things ayun go with your original plan.

kung kinda-extinct yung model ng laptop the batt could cost a lot may iba umaabot $200 hindi man yun original. meron naman rin around $50 it just depends.

i'm planning to replace my 14" laptop with a 12" netbook. either an intel atom dual-core or amd brazos dual-core yung kukunin ko. kaso ang hirap pala maghanap ng 12" with dual-core specs satin. most of the time 10" yung available but that's too small for me. i'm leaning towards either ASUS Eee PC 1215B (AMD Fusion E350; 1.6GHz/C50; 1.0GHz) or Eee PC 1215N (Intel Atom D525 Dual Core; 1.8GHz). unfortunately, i don't think they're in the PH already. last time i checked sa mga computer stores wala pa. sabi this summer daw. well, sana by may meron na. i want to see them in person first before really deciding. i hope they meet my expectations. 
any thoughts on this? maybe there are other 12" netbooks you girls can suggest? thanks!

get a real laptop or a real notebook kahit 13inches instead of a netbook marami nang magagaan na lumalabas na you'll get more bang for the buck for especially if you're replacing your main machine. netbooks do get basic things done and if you're not the type who'll get bugged by little details like screen resolution and speed, which can be frustrating, a netbook will be good and a portable choice nga naman.

thanks for your comment. i'll keep that in mind. hopefully i find a good laptop (not a netbook) within my price range (around PHP25k). as of now kasi netbooks with really good procies are more swak.

^you're welcome basta pagisipan mo nalang muna if  a netbook is worth it for you, so test mo nalang muna sa stores if it's a must buy and kung la ka ibang considerations when using it. sayang naman din kasi kung it doesn't meet your expectations. goodluck!

Just received  a new 9 cell battery for my Acer Aspire One A150.  6-12 hours of battery life, my netbooks been resurrected!   Very much worth the purchase considering I was barely getting an hour from its original 3 cell battery (which is now about 2 yrs. old).  Testing it out today to see how many hours I could get from it.

^ I've had mine for about 3 years and it still works very well.  Recently bought a 9 cell battery bec. The original 3 cell it came with wasn't holding the charge like it used to.  So now I'm up from about an hour of battery life to about 6 hours.  My netbooks now more useful than when I first got it bec. Of the longer battery life.  It does what I need it to do, mostly use I for surfing and word processing.  Speakers, don't expect much from them, mousepad is not a pain to use.

Hi sisters. Has anyone heard of any review (whether good or bad) regarding Asus Eee PC 1005P?

I'm using it for typical activities like using MS Office, surfing the internet, watching videos. I want something light-weight so that I can put it in my bag, bring it to work. With the following specifications: 10.1" LED Backlight screen (1024x600), Intel Atom Pineview-M N450, 1.66GHz, memory DDR2 1 GB (max 2 GB), WLAN 802.11 b/g/N, 11hours (6 cells) battery... pwede na kaya ito?

I have one, it's still running very well considering it's probably about 3 years old now.  As mentioned above I recently bought a 9 cell battery which allows me to use it for well over 5 hours.  I rarely use it simply because I have a lot of gadgets that I use alternatively.  I use it for surfing the web, word processing, nothing too task heavy.

my netbook needs a new keyboard.  temporarily,   i bought a usb powered mini keyboard from
cdrking which works fine.   

saan ba merong nabibiling keyboard ng asus?  meron ba sa inyo na nagpalit na?  any stores

Before, I was eyeing the Toshiba NB250 but when I saw its review, hindi pala ganun kagandahan. I also compared it with other netbooks like the Lenovo Ideapad and Asus, but the Acer Aspire One had the highest hard drive memory (500 GB). Yung cost is similar with Asus.

It also has an Android OS feature (just like in Samsung Galaxy tab pero hindi nga lang touch screen). You can use it as an alternative to Windows.

Sis, muntik ko na din bilhin yang Asus 1215 B/ 1215N kaya lang based on reviews sa mga users ang problem niya is yung trackpad... hindi daw maganda kasi tumatalon and naghung...if you prefer using an optical mouse instead of the trackpad, go for the 1215B coz it has good specs and affordable siya kasi last time I checked sa SM fairview nas P17k lang siya

Hi. Ask ko lang sana kasi yng COMPAQ laptop ko nasira. So, pinareformat ko sa MOA. I don't know why pero wala siyang kasamang OFFICE. Kami na daw mag install. Problem ko naman kasi I don't have installer. Is there any other ways para magka office ako? Need ko kasi yun sa work namin ni Hubby e.
