^if she's comfortable buying on brick and mortar stores then best buy is a good place. not so sure if there is Fry's (www.outpost.com) in Bay Area. She can try also there. If you can wait till Black Friday (Friday after Thanksgiving) most retailers offers good deals on their inventory including laptops. Try to google "Black Friday Deals 2009"

my toshiba na 14.5 in is glitch free and may libre pang canon scanner/printer na pagkalaki laki!  super sulit.

my husband even bought our digicams doon... instore... sobrang mura.... less than 10T lang yung over 10T dito noon! grabe...

kung sa specs ng usual netbook i know this is better.
pero kailangang kailangan ko malaman kung makakapaglaro ba ako ng SIMS3 dito. yung lang ang mahalaga sakin, pag solved na yun ok na sakin the rest of the specs coz aside from playing sims3, inet lang naman gagawin ko dyan.
