in terms of specs kasi mas ok ang MSI

pero in terms of performance, mas bilib ako sa ACER because i had it once.

My hubby sent me an Acer Aspire One D250 in Red. I was wondering if I can uninstall the McAfee? Will I encounter any problem? Would like to use AVG instead.

I think you could because I uninstalled McAfee and installed AVG on my Acer Aspire One when I got it a year ago, did not encounter any problems.

well it depends kung mapagkakatiwalaan ba yung nagbebenta why not. kasi minsan mga chop-chop na yung binebenta diyan tapos walang guarantee kung tatagal. siguro tingin ka sa news paper na nagbebenta ng 2nd hand.

andito kasi ako sa US, may mga nagbebenta kasi ng refurbished laptops and netbooks dito. sa tingin mo ba nagch-chop chop din sila ng parts? hehe..anyways, i think i'll go for brand new and direct sa manufacturer mismo kung bibili ako..natanong ko lang naman yung refurbished..sabi kasi nila pareho lang din daw yun sa brand new..kung baga tinest lang ulit yung unit to make sure pasado pa rin sa standards..

question: I have a 6-cell battery on my MSI wind but so far, it only lasts for about four hours. Is this normal for a 6-cell batt? Ewan siguro I was kinda expecting a lot more, say kahit about 6 hours? What do you think is the reasonable batt length for a 6-cell?

manufacturers often sell refurbished laptops. mas ok kung dun ka sa kanila makakabili kasi they offer limited warranty. its almost the same as brand new provided sa kanila manggagaling kasi they replace broken parts with new ones from OEM

redroux: what's your normal usage like? do you use the wifi and bluetooth on, listen to music and watch videos?

^ bro, it's just regular surfing and I don't even turn on the music and watch videos that much...at least not yet. I'm pretty certain I did the initial charging correctly (had it plugged in for 6 continuous hours and some more).

What do you think? Are 4 hours reasonable?
