i have a dell mini...issue ko lang is the boot up time i guess or im hoping lahat takes awhile? i seldom use mine might give it to sissy. a yun runs naman like a mini pc cute naman sya and very solid.

^ Thanks!  My daughter is presently into those PC games kasi and nakikipag-agawan sa aming mag-asawa ng mga laptop.   We're thinking of getting a netbook for her (but actually para sa amin din  ).

We're leaning towards MSI wind.

^wala pa e, baka march pa daw. yung hp 1001 tu 60 g lang ata. yung hp2140 120 or 160gb na. so better to wait. and i read reviews much better daw sya kesa sa 1001. of course most likely, more expensive din sya.

I have the HP Mini 2133 and I have a problem with the webcam.  It doesn't have an option for video recording.  It can only take pictures but my uncle who has the same model says his has video recording function.

I tried downloading drivers from the HP website (and other HP support sites) but nothing has changed.  Same thing- that it only captures images. 

Help!  What should I download?

sis, tignan mo yung specs ng acer 2930, its a 12' inch mas malaki ng konti sa asus eee pc pero it has dvd super multi double layer player and bluetooth.

i mean mas worth to buy acer 2930 if you want smaller but with good specs. lalo na kung mahilig ka kalikot ng laptop mo im sure you'll enjoy acer. you can still play dvd and burn dvds and also with its bluetooth mas madali ang file transfer whereas with other brands na walang bluetooth card reader lang. think about it.

Help naman mga sis/bro, how did you install microsoft office in your netbook? I am a student kasi, i know hindi niyia function yun, pero gusto ko kasi ng laptop na portable and at the same time eh may MS office, lalo na ms word. please help thanks :}

if you have the installer pwede mo siya install right away, but as you said, you bought the asus EEEpc and walang dvd cd rom yan kaya you have to ask yung pinagbilan mo para mas makamura ka para sila mag install for you or if you have external dvdrom pwede ikaw na yung mag install.

i dont want to offend you sis ha, maganda asus as i also have one the smaller one nga lang . but i use my acer. asus for outside lang. downside is walang dvdrom , today gamit na gamit pa rin kasi ang mga dvds.

if you have a large memory, download mo nalang sis then install.

^ Medyo naliliitan ako sa keyboard niya, unlike sa MSI Wind at HP Mini na tama lang.

@miss understood, i have the lenovo s10. so far so good. i have the 6 cell battery, kaya i can use it unplugged for more than 4 hours. i was able to use it once for 4 1/2 with wifi on as for the keyboard, i think its 95% the normal size but its not really hard to use, you can check it before you buy it.

why i chose it over the msi wind? coz its lenovo. i have the y410 na kasi, and i really have no regrets with that one, kahit naka-vista pa sya

and why i chose it over acer? i have an acer laptop at home and heat talaga ang problem ng acer. so im assuming lalo na sa netbook nila. plus, if you compare the price, mura na rin lenovo kasi it has windows xp na.

why i chose it over hp, kasi intel atom ang processor, hp has via although there are rumors for an intel atom version na.

one more, looks ng lenovo very classy   the screen is just alright.  if you are wondering about heat, umiinit sya of course, just like the others. i had the asus eee before this as my netbook kasi, lenovo is tolerable hindi sya nakakbother, yung asus hindi ko magamit sa sobrang init.
