ah ganu b! Mga sis, suggestion nman that has these specs:
Large capacity 4 downloading movies and pix
Hd ready for cam and video
usb port, card reader port ?
Dosnt heat up easily, 6cell battery, xp home, wifi, bluetooth, camera, easy to use,and colorful.
I was tinkn of getting aspire one, kaya lang it dosn't have cam pero not so important nman kc dko nman talaga yun gngamit. Mostly movies and surfing lang ako.

^Uhm my acer aspire one has a webcam.  Have you tried checking the specs from the Acer site?

ay mali, bluetooth pala ang wala sa aspire one. nagpunta kami smx yesterday to check out sana mga netbooks, kaso wala naman masyado display doon. was thinking of getting msi wind, kaso sabi naman sales sa HP local brand daw siya kaya di nila masyado recommend... eh andami naman dito mga sisses nanakabili na.  im torned between hp & msi...hay, wc do you is better?

problem with the HP netbook is the processor that comes with it... VIA processor gamit nila at hindi intel... your better off with intel ATom na gamit ng MSI Wind

got my lil sister an HP Mini 1000 for Christmas.

of all the netbooks, i thought it was the prettiest and coolest looking, sort of like a tinier black macbook.

specs could've been better, i was actually hoping i'd stumble across a Samsung NC10, but i didn't, so i went ahead and took the HP.

i figured a pretty notebook with so-so specs would be a step-up from what she originally wanted anyway... a PSP. pfft.

meron bang notebook na may dvd writer na?  gusto k sana portable, colorful, pero may writer na kasi mahilig k manood series...also, mabilis din mag-surf...

most netbooks if not all does not come with optical drives... malaki kasi space na kailangan nito... anyway what you can do is get a large hard drive.. or a high capacity memory card tapos rip mo na lang yung movies... ako ganun i dont burn series that I download.. i got myself a cheap dvd player that has a usb slot tapos save ko na lang dun... i have about 200 dvds at home and ayaw ko na dumami pa sila hehe

may nakatry na ng astone umpc? kainis, ok sana siya. it has 60g hd space, and touch screen din siya. yun nga lang, lagi nagloloko yung unit. i replaced it twice and still the same.

may nakapag try na ba magconvert ng Aspire One from Linux to Windows XP? may nagbago ba sa performance? like bumagal?

About the HP Mini Note 1000, ok na lahat ng specs but is it possible to to change the hard disk into 120GB? 60GB is too small for me...yung iba namang netbook parang mahal na eh...thanks

hubby just gave me an acer aspire one in white and i'm loving it. gusto ko lang naman surfing the net. Windows XP na [textspeak!] nakainstall.

i think so.

oh, and i finally got to dick around with the HP Mini 1000. it was actually pretty cool, takes a bit of getting used to the small screen and weird trackpad and windows (mac user. heh.).

only real problem we've had was that the cameras sooo dark its unusable. tried to google up fixes and found that a lot of users are having the same problem -- and that none of them has found solutions, and are waiting for HP to release some kind of fix.

i want to take it back, but then my sister doesnt want to let go of it anymore.

VIA Esther is also good for low powered machines (netbook), Mobile HDD means just like an ordinary laptop HDD..if this is not SSD mukhang ayoko syang gamitin sa labas at ibyahe unlike eeepc and the acer aspire 

^HP Mini has the best keyboard for me so far among the netbooks i've tried

^for a laptop, Dell 1420. Netbook Advent 4123 (but wala ata nyan dito, sa UK lang) we just bought a USB sim card reader instead. HP Mini 1000's din daw may hidden sim card slot

Most of the 10" netbooks cost more than 20K, just look for good deals like free ram upgrade or free OS. The 8.9" netbooks range from 10k to 17k. I included Astone because this is the only netbook available in the market that has a touch screen lcd, I think this is less than 10k well depends where you're going to get it. Before buying try to check all the specs and reviews of the netbook you want so you can really decide which one to buy. Like for example if I wanted a netbook that has wifi n I'd go for Asus 1000H, if I wanted to run MAC OS or Leopard without a glitch I'd get MSI Wind, things like that. Get one that would suit your needs and more if possible.
