Okay...I couldn't wait until December. *LOL*  Got the Acer Aspire One AOA 150 (which is also blue like it's ate Vaio  ) from Costco earlier.  Grabe, we went to Best Buy, Circuity City, Office Depot, Office Max, Radio Shack and they either didn't carry it or they were out of stock.

Using it now and loving it so far.  I've installed iTunes and Palm Desktop so I'm good to go! Hehe.  Can't wait to take it with me when I start traveling on Wednesday.

im currently checking Asus Eeepc 1000h...seems ok naman ang specs..any feedback? what brand/model can i compare it to?

meron na ba dito asus eee pc s101? mas lighter and slimmer than previous eee pc.

pero parang mas gusto ko pa rin lenovo s10, antay antay lang ako ng 6-cell batt. pero may nakita ako sa site ng lenovo china na 6-cell batt, di ko lang sure kung pang s10.

mga sis ano ba pinaka malaking screen for netbooks? parang mas prefer ko kase siya instead of notebooks so I can bring it anywhere..TIA

@aquacharly - yep, me, too. I'll be waiting for your updates on your lenovo. I would also be using mine to while away the time din and not for work. 

Sis, am very happy with this "toy".  Of course, I am also able to do simple activities like sending business letters, office memos while traveling/on the go.   -- LOL, yan ayaw ng staff!   

Alam mo din, Sis -- my husband has picked up na rin na pag yun ang linabas ko from my bag  (not the Toshiba, not the HP with the tablet) -- eh I am "not in serious business mode" so don't bug me kasi hindi talaga kaya ng Lenovo our financials.   

How is yours?  May pink na kaya?  Sabi hindi daw darating dito sa Phils. Pero kung meron, I will buy.  LOL

@chic_clothes, i suggest you try checking out lenovo's ideapads. 10inch screen ata, if im not mistaken. and ang ganda ng specs.

Bought an asus eee 1000h for 21k (80gb hd, 1gb ram) last month. so far im loving it. 6 cell battery so average ng 4-5hrs tumatagal. pinagpilian ko din acer one & msi wind since pareho lang sila 6 cell pero in the end opted for asus kasi ok naman  tried and tested ko na asus sa mga computer parts.

I haven't bought yet.  Hubby and I have decided that if we are going to buy another computer, it'll be a laptop and not a netbook.  I'll just lug around the old one with the 12-inch screen.

@ aquacharly - I saw a pink lenovo at Mall of Asia.  I think the name of the store selling it is GH and its in the aisle opposite the lenovo store.  It's along the side of MOA where they sell computer stuff.

If you decide to buy the pink one and decide to put the black one up for sale...  , think of me.  LOL

^For me, portability.. No, make that ultra portability.  At just 2.2 lbs with an  8.9 inch screen (Acer Aspire One 150).. I can take it anywhere with far more ease than my regular 14 inch notebook (an equally beautiful blue Vaio ).  If you're gonna be travelling a lot or will be making presentations.. a netbook is nice to have definitely.  My big gripe was having to take out my notebook at airport security check points so since I'll be travelling to different states this season, I decided I had to get one.

they had both white and black on stock antagal ko nga dun kasi ang cute nung white pero in the end opted for the black kasi hindi ako maingat sa gamit sigurado sandali lang madumi agad..hehe. bought mine sa computers and options sa cyberzone sa sm north.

hi sis xtine, ok ba netbook kahit mga excel applications? pwede pa rin ba mag install ng mga programs sa netbook and hindi siya babagal? thanks

^I haven't used Excel but I use MS Word all the time and it's the same as using the application from my notebook.  I've installed iTunes, Palm Desktop, Documents to Go, Repligo,  Skype, YM and I am able to sync my iPhone, iPod, and Palm TX with my netbook.  There comes a point when things do slow down ie. multiple tabs open in Firefox, multiple word documents open, iTunes running, YW and Skype running,  while synching a device.  Otherwise, if you're just going to simply browse while working on a document or two.. it runs flawlessly.
