^ My BF actually bought an ACER Aspire One last night at VMall. Mura lang siya, pero 8GB lang kasi. There's a card slot naman, so you could still expand it with an additional 16GB. Meron nang available na 16GB PQI brand sa CD-R King.

Ang ganda sana ng finish nung white. May pagka-pearl white siya, or off white yata yun. Kaso mas macho talaga tingnan yung blue, so he bought the blue one.

Overall, and considering the price, it's a good buy.

^nagandahan din ang boyfriend ko sa acer aspire one.. i have yet to see it in person...

i got my white wind, and it's holding up pretty well. good response and all, but i just wish they made the 6-cell battery available here. you end up tethered to a plug after just a few hours. camera's good, keyboard's good, trackpad's ok.

does the aspire one have built-in bluetooth? no, right?

mine is acer travelmate 12.1.

so far, so good. the screen is not too big nor small for browsing. travel mate ko sya talaga kasi tamang-tama ang size for me. plus unlike the smaller ones, it has 160GB HDD kaya masaya pa din ako when it comes to photo storage.

^i also have a 12.1-inch lappy... way back 2005, pinakamaliit na sya na nakita ko.. now ang dami ng smaller notebooks!

^^wishing the same thing...

i was told the 6-cell battery won't be part of a bundle..it will be sold separately. i just hope it won't be too expensive..

acer aspire one doesn't have bluetooth.

update: asus eee pc 901 will have the same price as the eee pc 900... weird..

^Try sa Mega sis sa branches ng PC Corner, may website din sila search mo nalang yung branches available nila and call them up to inquire about the availability of the white wind

Got the Asus eee pc for my son.. it's relatively good for kids because of the pre-installed "kiddie" softwares such as games and learning tools. The only thing about it is the Linux OS, so you can't install the programs you want (you can only choose from a given list). But you have the option of re-formatting it and installing WinXP as long as you have the installation disk.

Overall, it's good for simple tasks like websurfing, video watching, and office document editing and creation.

just got my new HPmini-note PC. base configuration 1.2 Ghz VIA processor, 1GBRAM, 120GB Hard Drive, WIFI, Bluetooth, 1.3 megapix webcam so far so good except that i find the touchpad a bit annoying

Saw this small laptop SONY worth BD1000 almost Php100k na..aprub ang Specs but this I think its too much. Like ko din ang Toshiba..

my HP 2133 is holding up pretty well

i removed the pre-installed linux and installed xp and my my was it fast. i'll be installing photoshop and autocad within the week to find out whether it'll survive he he he.

acer has recently launched their aspire one here in dubai (limited stocks only). im quite disappointed that the keys are a bit small same as asus.
