I prefer nga naman the MSI Wind over Asus eee pc, from 8.9" to 10" na screen, makes a big diff to me -- less eyestrain

^The Macbook or Macbook Air will fit you best sis promise hindi ka magsisisi at worth every single penny

Aesthetics included, you can get the pink speck cases or the gelaskins stickers if you prefer a more customized look.

Kung external hard drive, madali lang din yan sis since maliit lang naman ang mga iyon (the most you will need is less than 500gb and around the size of a pack of cigarettes) and optional naman the thumbdrives for separate files.

Go for the white macbook to be sure since ang macbook air is wifi lang, if ur into downloading stuff mas ok the macbook but kung chat or surf lang naman mag air ka na.

^Maglalabas ng bagong macbooks 3rd qtr if you can wait and see what theyll come out with sana they'll come come out with mini pro's nun. or maybe its just system upgrades.

a macbook will be good la ka pa virus problem gaano.  yung air is a pretty little thing to carry around that's what your paying for naman din yung pagkanipis nya makes a hefty difference if you have a lot in tow or if you've been carrying a dinosaur with you.

Maybe you should consider the new Mac Air? I don't know much about computers and laptops but a friend of mine has one; it's super light and can hold enough files and photos for her needs. Downside is that you can't use a cd or dvd and I think the battery is built in and you have to send it back to Mac for replacement.

The MSI Wind is pretty good. I have it in pink. Hehe. I was hoping to get the white or black one, kaso sold out na when I got to the store. I've been comparing all the other UMPCs, and this seems to give the best deal so far. I was initially choosing between this & Acer Aspire, although hindi pa available ang Aspire. And the BF said MSI Wind offers the better processor (Intel Atom) among the low cost notebooks.

sana i-launch na dito ang asus eee pc 901 soon! i wanna see both the 901 and msi wind in person so i could compare! ang hirap ng madaming choices..nakakalito talaga!

for me plus points ng msi wind ang 80gig capacity!
plus points naman ng eee pc 901 ang digital array mic! babaw ko noh?

May free accessories?? Mine didn't come with any external hard disk. Battery lang. I even kidded the sales staff of PC Corner nga na baka may freebie naman. Wala raw talaga.

I have tried the camera using Yahoo Messenger. Puwede na. There definitely are better webcams, pero puwede na talaga. Hindi ko pa na-try mag-mic.

So far, I don't have problems using my MSI Wind. It's pretty good as a travel laptop/notebook. My main laptop kasi is IBM Thinkpad, so I just store all the important stuff there.

Sis Kim did u get the most expensive one? (sorry I cant be more specific since its bawal to post prices here ) --- thats the one I got and it came with a FREE 100+ GB external HD.

If they can get away with it, I'm sure they would kasi while I was buying an older lady ( a teacher who travels frequently to the province on mission schools --- chismosa ako ) came back. Sabi nya she bought daw the exact same model that I did and she forgot the free HD, buti nalang daw she remembered so she went back the next day.

In addition to my kwento she said she paid in cash kasi bawal daw (her term) na hindi eh ako I paid using my credit card and even got it at 0% for 12 months. Actually sabi nga sa akin ayaw ng card at installment pero tinarayan ko and said "Ah ganun ba? At baket hindi?!? Sige sa iba nalang ako bibili! Now lang ako nakakita ng tumatanggi sa grasya" --- sabay talikod. Hinabol ako so ang sabi sa akin ng sales "Ok po ma'am pahiram nalang po ng credit card and ID. So ako naman labas ng platinum card

Moral of the story: Hindi sila consistent so it means you can also make tawad at may loopholes sa kwento nila
