All About Bridal Showers

update on my planning:

VENUE: i combined the bridal shower and stag party of the couple, which is now called a couple's shower.. we did not push through with the plan i mentioned earlier.. the guests are hesitant because of the venue's reputation so i looked for other venues.. i inquired and researched about malayan, linden, astoria and legend villas but all of them always remind me that parties are not allowed. good thing i found millenia suites. it is a newly opened hotel in ortigas though i think they don't really allow parties but when i asked they allowed me because they said that they are still lenient about those kind of things since they are still new. i booked their two bedroom corner suite online. and will visit the place this coming weekend.

san kayang ok na resto na pwede magbridal shower? preggy nak asi yung friend namin and simple langna shower sana. simples games and dinner lang. sang resto ba yung may maliit na function room? either qc or makati area. . .TIA!

^Adarna Food and Culture sa Kalayaan Ave, QC, meron silang small room with table...I think good for 15 - 20 siguro.  The restaurant itself is charming.

hi sis.. the two bedroom corner suite is almost 6k and it is already considered as the best price since i booked online.. when i called the hotel, they told me that, that room is good for 4 pax pero when i booked online it was indicated the it is good for 3 pax only.. will verify again when i visit the hotel.. they also said that it is okay to accept guests in our room as long as not all of them will stay for the night since only 3-4 people are allowed..

will update everything soon since our event is in two weeks already!

Nagbook na ko sa Lancaster ng one bedroom suite, 3800 lang compared sa Linden 5500. This Nov.20 na ang shower party ng friend ko. Then pwede daw max 4persons. 

Any game ideas/suggestions? Yun medyo kakaiba??

got my 7 tickets to loi villarama's bridal shower 2010 to be held this november 14, 2010 at 1esplanade near MOA. Kitakits mga sis na aatend. Also got a free bikini waxing from lay bare c/o the bridal shower 2010. =D

One of our GT sisses suggested the Popsicle Game. Kakainin yung popsicle na parang nagB-BJ. 

Ang ginawa ko nun, bumili ako nung green sponge (na ginagamit sa flower arrangement) sa Ace Hardware. Doon ko tinusok yung dulo ng stick ng popsicle para nakatayo siya kasi hindi dapat hawakan ng ladies [textspeak!] popsicle eh.

Tapos may game kami na babalutan ng condom yung eggplant using your teeth. Yung bibilin na eggplant dapat pare pareho yung haba para fair.

thanks! yun nga lang i forgot to mention that the bride wanted a themed venue kaya lang masyadong mahal sa VC e konti lang makakaattend din kaya we're opting for a cheaper place like in a hotel para sulit din coz pwede magovernight.

we had my friend's bridal shower at lancaster suites.spacious for 1br because it has dining area with round table and kitchen pa.you can borrow utensils from the housekeeping. they are not stict pa. nung bumili kami ng food and liquor tinulungan pa kami ng staff iakyat.then more than 20 yata kami.we hired male strippers and shempre todo hiyawan kami wala namang sumita sa amin

you can do a marshmallow game.. create marshmallow necklaces then let someone or a stripper (which is better) wears it while a guest will have to eat the marshmallows without using her hands. the fastest eater of all the marshmallows wins

my sister (my matron of honor) organized a bridal shower party for me... dapat sa holiday inn sana un kaso kasagsagan ng bagyong juan nun kaya kinansel dun at sa attic n lang ng house ng pinsan ko.. i was not expecting that so much much fun..

several games we had was the butasan ng condom game, bale hinipan nilang parang balloon yung condom tapos may question sa loob, yung question sa loob is tungkol saming dalawa ni hubby (ininterview nila si hubby non secretly for the answers). Kailangan mo butasin yung condom by using your mouth pag tama sagot mo sa tanong yung friend ko ang kakagat nung susunod na condom pag mali ako yung kakagat (grabe mamantika ang bibig ko pagkatapos hehe)..

we also have this game using the clay they bought, bale naggroup into two yung mga girls and they have to be creative in making the best replica of "manhood" tapos ako pa yung magju-judge.. super eye opener ang party na yun.. yet very enjoying and memorable hehe

we once organize a bridal shower for a friend.. sa victoria court siya. they have package for this kasi, then may themed room kang pagpipilian.. gusto sana namin yung austin powers na room kaso not available na on the day ng shower party pero nothing can stop us from our plans so we opted na lang yung ibang room.. may food na kasama na yung package (marami rami na rin yung food kasi more than 10 din kami), condoms, the black card (10% discount ata ito everytime you go sa VC).. tapos we hired 2 male strippers.. haha.. isa lang yung kinausap namin then parang hours before the shower, nagsama pa ng isa.. mura lang yung bayad namin sa kanila wala pang 2k ata for the 2 na yun ha.. though nahirapan talaga kami maghanap... we played games tapos in between yung set ng guys na sumasayaw..

Ano ba kasama dun sa package ng stripper? Stripping lang talaga? And may unwritten rule ba na dapat naman standing at attention si junior during the performance...I attended one shower where junior was mostly flaccid...nahiyha ata.
