All About Bridal Showers

My sisters and cousins surprise me with a shower party last Saturday. I was pissed off with fiancé that he will be leaving me for a night out with his college friend, hindi pa tapos [textspeak!] DIY na invitations naming ginagawa… yun pala accomplished siya ng mga pinsan ko. It was fun night. Nag order lang sila ng food sa yellow cab, gumawa sila ng pang nachos and a friend baked a cake for me. Super fun.

It doesn’t need to be extravagant shower party, ang mahalaga I was able to spend quality time with my cousins and sisters.. since I hardly seen them na because busy na sa wedding preparation.

Hi mga sis,

The Spa in High Street, they have a really nice place that can accomodate around 10 pax in their what they call Spa-rty.  Mukhang mahal ang The Spa, but their massage is almost the same as most spas (but good amenities)

Parang nga ang cute e, instead of the traditional bridal shower, would it be nice to pamper the bride and maybe a pedi/mani or a nice massage for the whole group.

This is what I'm thinking of doing for my friends bridal shower next month.

Will give guests an invite and a ticket and they have to buy it (parang discreet KKB  ) then when they go there, they'll be pampered na din then just give a nice souvenir after.

I super highly recommend Victoria Court Pasig, specifically the Moulin Rouge Suite!

This is where we had our prenup shoot, and the room was really very very nice. It's a perfect setting for bridal showers.

Our wedding theme was Moulin Rouge. That's why we chose this place for our shoot. =)

I'd like to thank bro Jordan (aka jocoaquino) for being so accomodating! I wasnt able to meet him personally, but my fiance did.

 ^^ sis, i just attended a sparty in honor of our friend who's getting married.

 It was really a wonderful experience for the bride at she super like the sparty.

 we're 8 at tig 1,240 kami inclusive na ang massage, then use of sauna, etc.., then dinner (gourmet sandwich, fruit platter and lemograss iced tea) dun na rin namin held sa the Spa.

 Super sulit kasi naka pagrelax na si bride pati kami kasama rin na relax

 Then they also gave a bouquet of flowers sa friend ko at meron silang binigay na give-away..

kami naman, we had the bridal shower at getaway spa. i asked them to give me a quotation for 15 pax. choice of swedish, shiatsu, asian reflexology and foot spa with paraffin treatment. free use of lounge for 2 hours, pica pica food - french fries, nachos, chicken fingers (i was told may calamares, siguro naubusan coz they replaced it with pork instead). bottomless juice, coffee and tea. 2 bridal games with prizes. the prizes were GCs from getaway spa. and a small cake. total price was 14k. overall, okay yung event. okay na rin yung price sa dami ng kasama sa package. for the prizes, 2 games with 6 participants each ang nanalo, they gave us GCs for hand/feet paraffin treatment and 20% discount on future massages.

ano sa tingin mo masmagugustuhan ng sister mo? saken kasi, nagfish around nako for info. so more or less, alam ko na sparty (spa party) gusto ng pinsan ko. so naghanap talaga ako ng venue na kasya kaming lahat. 20 kasi invited guests including the bride.

i gave one of my friends pasta/macaroni noodles na ang shapes ay boobs at penis. tawang tawa sila. hindi raw nya ma-imagine feeding her husband pasta na ganun mga hugis ng pasta noodles.

mga sis, anybody who tried briday shower with Kitchen Theme? Usual na kasi and bedroom theme, para ma iba naman and basically kaya nag shower party para ito sa preparation din iyun sa kanyang married life.
