I called Parque Espana and they don't allow bridal showers party sa hotel.
Im not really planning na sobrang ingay na party. We're around 10 pax pwede bang umakyat na lang yung iba sa room then celebrate quietly ? Or do they require a specific number of guests in a room?

Please help.

Also, if you can suggest in south area na pwedeng i hold ang bridal shower. Gusto kasi namin mag spa muna then go straight sa hotel. Any recos aside from VC (venue) and saan spa sa south do offer a spa package for bridal showers??

I attended a bridal shower sa Astoria Plaza sa Ortigas ginawa. They rented a two bedroom suite, so malaki yung space. Pero we were told by the organizer na bawal daw mag party sa Astoria kaya discreet yung pag akyat sa hotel room. We were instructed lang to proceed dun sa room dere-derecho lang at quiet lang. Pero ayun nairaos naman ang party. May stripper pa.

maid of honor usually. it would be much fun if the MOH is your sister/barkada because she would know who to invite (people you want to be present) for the party.

also, they would know your activities day in, day out. they can coordinate on how to "surprise" you

what striked me talaga is when i attended a bridal shower and one of the guests gave a candle which has the same shape as a male organ. super hilarious tuloy.

usually maid of honor lang...pero in my case, mukhang yung mga entourage members with the help of my two cousins from australia and some friends, ang mag aasikaso. mas excited nga sila kaysa sa akin eh

i want to plan the bridal shower of my cousin since im the MOH. prob is, the budget! LOL. sasagutin ko sana the whole bridal shower kung hindi ko lang sasagutin yung photo booth sa wedding niya.

is it okay to ask for the guests to contribute? kunwari, 500 each per person. kasi gusto ng cousin ko is pampering... so malamang sa spa or nail salon kami.

pero iniisip ko rin na kung papa-chip in ang friends sa gastos, dyahe to ask them to bring kinky gifts pa since gumastos na sila. lost na tuloy ako! hehe! previous bridal showers i attended, kadalasan family ng bride sponsor ng cost ng bridal shower tapos friends nag oorganize. but i don't think i can ask my cousin's family to sponsor the bridal shower coz dami na nila gagastusin for the wedding. heeeeelp! kung pwede lang gumawa ng fund-raising activity for the bridal shower! hahaha!

hi ms. rain....

now ko lang naalala, may nag sponsor pala sa bridal shower ko, yung isang ninang ko na kikay...(kinuha kong ninang sa wedding namin..) super bait nya, sya talaga gumastos sa lahat daw, pati food nagdala siya at may nagsasayaw pa talaga...hanggang all the way ginawa nung nagsasayaw....grabehh...tuwang tuwa mga friends ko...

nung una nag ask yung wedding planner ko ng contributions sa mga friends ko..pero di ko lam if ano ngyari at dahil surprise nila kasi yun sa akin....

pero so far naman up to now di ko lam if ano talaga ginawa nilang arrangements nun...

at lam ko ms. rain ok lang to tell friends na magdala ng kahit small gift for the bridal shower..like mga simple gifts lang ok na yun...

i think friends would gladly bring kinky gifts, but yun nga, if im going to ask them to shell out money for the bridal shower, tipong 500 to 1k each person... tapos dala pa sila individual gifts, baka too much na.

i gave my friend a box of penis-shaped pasta during her bridal shower! tawang tawa sila lahat - perfect daw yun, lumalaki kapag naiinitan just like the real thing
