my bridal shower was planned by my sister. it was a very lovely surprise.

since my cousin is a dance instructor, who was also my coordinator, instructed us to go to a dance studio so we can "practice" our wedding dance. but when we got there, all of my girlfriends and cousins were there! they set up the studio with all of my lomo pics. it was a night to remember

sexy lingerie, chocolate body paint, kamasutra books, handcuffs, glow in the dark condoms, edible undies etc. are some of the stuffs we give to our soon-to-be-brides. i gave one of my friends pasta/macaroni noodles na ang shapes ay boobs at penis. tawang tawa sila. hindi raw nya ma-imagine feeding her husband pasta na ganun mga hugis ng pasta noodles.

the last bridal shower i attended, i gave something that the bride could wear on her wedding day. i gave her a white tube dress (towel like fabric) which she wore during her makeup session nung wedding day. sobrang happy ako kasi sa lahat ng gifts na naibigay, yung gift ko lang ang nakita kong sinuot ng bride. syempre! yung mga lingerie, if ever nasuot niya yun, d naman kami yung makakakita.

My bestfriend is getiing married this December, I'm the MOH. For sure I have to organize and initiate the planning of the bridal shower. I'm here in Toronto and for sure everybody is thinkin since nasa abroad ako I should shoulder all the expenses.

Mga sis, is it ok if I shoulder the hotel room and the rest of her college friends will shoulder the food and drinks? Ok na yun diba?

^ Yup.. i guess, that's fair enough.. potluck na lang sa food.. you can indicate that sa invites na potluck yong party.. and if you plan to have games, puwede ka na rin siguro mag-assign ng para sa games and sila na din bahala sa prizes.. baka pwede na iyong ibang abay ang mag-shoulder nito..

i will be giving my friend a bridal shower this coming friday.. i've asked an officemate if he can lend us his place and fortunately, pumayag naman siya.. so nalibre na ako sa place

potluck din ito.. pero i will also shoulder the prizes for the games and the give-aways... kung sino may gusto na male stripper, sila na bahala sumagot doon..

^^^i think the bride can initiate the plan, why not? pero sana may mag-volunteer na mag-lead ng planning. para naman may element of surprise pa din. she can ask a close girlfriend or relative to do it. tsaka para wala na din gastos on her part

i remember joking a close officemate to hold a bridal shower for me. she did! di ko inexpect yun kaya masaya. hehe...

I also read that make sure lahat nang invited sa bridal shower eh invited din sa wedding. Baka kasi hindi rin kaya nang bride to invite all her friends tapos pag na invite sila sa bridal shower..ang sagwa naman nun.
