TICKS! Please Help

^Sis abu, thanks for reminding me na dapat 2 days AFTER bathing! Haha lagi ko kasi sila pinapaliguan in the morning tapos night time ang pag-apply. :| Pero wala naman, effective pa rin. Hehe. They also like to bathe A LOT, which is a factor din sa effectiveness, pero ganun din, effective naman.

Dati gusto ko itry yang pagtitipid na yan, but I realized applicable lang siya for people with small dogs. Kasi paano mo nga ba naman hahatiin pa yung malaking applicator sa malalaking dogs? Makakatipid ka siguro pero pa-piso-piso lang. Haha!

Another tip our vet gave us is to AVOID using cologne on dogs, nakaka-attract daw siya ng ticks.

i see thanks sis abu   . so after applying frontline pwede ko na ba sya hawak hawakan after a day?. sis minnie what do you mean lagi pinapaliguan as in everyday?

^ Hi sis, I meant ang practice na ginagawa ko, kapag sched nila for frontline, pinapaliguan in the morning (pag matagal nang di naliligo, pero pag di pa naman sila mabaho, okay lang), then evening application para matutulog na sila sa separate crates.

As long as dry na yung spot kung saan mo inapply, okay na siya hawakan. Make sure while it is newly applied, wag mo rin palalaruin sa ibang dogs kung meron pa kayo other dogs.

mga sis. pang 2 days na ni shylo since nilagyan ko sya ng frontline. pwede ko na ba syang paliguan? may nabasa kasi ako after 3 days pa meron naman after 2 days pwede. na confused ako kung alin don.

^pwede na sis after 2 days basta wag lang yung less than 24hours, masasayang lang kasi yung gamot pag ganun.

di pala dapat bumibili ng big spray bottles ng frontline. na expire-an ako ng 2. better to buy pala a small bottle lang kasi konti lang naman kelangan. and pa isa isa lang naman kasi mga hitch hikers nila.

anyway, i used the expired sprays sa garage, gate and driveway nalang.

where to buy bottle of frontline? may nakita ko sa pet express kaso hindi frontline yung name.

^try tiende sis, parang hindi kasi mabenta yung spray bottle eh, ilang pcs. lang din nakikita ko sa petshops.

Our family dog had a severe case...sobrang kawawa. That it infested our garage, and made him really sick. My tito from davao made oil from coconut, home made. we applied on his fur then after a while and days nawala. It seems effective. Just a share!

i was just given a labrador retriever, 6weeks na sya. i noticed nagstart na sya mag scratch so feeling ko may ticks sya. uhm. pwede na ba yung seven powder sa kanya? also, pwede ko na ba sya paliguan?

^ kami sis, after 3 months pa ang first bath. hehe. yan kasi nabasa ko sa book dati. naspu-naspu lang before that.

try mo munang no chemicals used on him/ her. kung start palang, baka pwedeng agapan pa by mano-manong kutuhan.  im not in favor of powder kasi ma inhale nila.

Spot on the best anti flea and Tick. Once a month. If you cant afford it, Bearing powder and shampoo also is good. Get the pink bearing shampoo smells like baby powder.

I have an 8-week old labrador retriever, nagkakamot sya, nung una minsan minsan lang, pero mas dumalas since i started feeding him acana. Then parang numipis balahibo nya, di ko tuloy alam kung dahil sa food or dahil dumami lang yung ticks nya...?

When i tried pulling his hair, wala naman sumama na balahibo...

Im planning to buy yung frontline spray, kaso may nagsabi sakin na yung pet nila nadala sa vet dahil parang mali yata or nasobrahan lagay nung tick spray,,,???

Dati frontline spray gamit tapos biglang di gumagana kaya try namin Advantix sabi ng vet. 2nd month pa lang monitoring pa din pero nagddry up na yung ticks.

sis honey, may nakikita ka bang fleas? baka flea allergy dermatitis yan. careful sa mga spot ons kasi insecticide sila, so toxic pa rin in short. super baby pa ng dog mo for this, try herbal soaps muna kaya?
