safe kaya sa magbubutis pa lang ang frontline?

Frontline is very effective! i was alarmed a week ago when i found my lab's kili-kili na nakakalbo na due to too much ticks. nakaka-awa, sayang naman kung hahayaan ko ang ganda pa naman ng balahibo nya. kadiri! even on their ears, pinamumugaran ng ticks. kahit super mahal ng Frontline, I bought 3 pipets of those for my 3 dogs. di ko kasi kayang dalhin silang 3 sa vet coz they are soooo heavy & super likot!

sis paano ilagay yung frontline sa dog? buong katawan ba yun o sa parts lang na may kato?

update: more than 1 month na namin ginagamit yung asuntol soap, malinis na mga aso namin. in a week, 3-4 times sila maligo (they love the water naman lalo ngayon mainit, nagpapaligo talaga sila) kaya ayun, inayawan na rin sila ng mga ticks

ti-nry ko na yung front line i hope na matanggal na mga kato, halos maubos yung frontline spray sa kanilang lima.

^ pipet yung binili ko, liquid sya & you just have to put it on their nape & spread about an inch of it. mag-se-spread na yung frontline sa buong katawan nila on it's own.

^effective ba sis? nakita ko kahapon yun yung nasa child-proof plastic? medyo mahal din yun, isang piece for one dog only sya noh? mahal din. hehe

na-try ko na yung froent line spray kahapon, may mga natuyo na agad na ticks pero dipa lahat patay. ang mahal tapos ubos agad?

^ yes, very effective! i didn't care if it's costly, what matters is that my dogs are tick free & they're healthy.

there's a dog shampoo for ticks and powder too. Best to keep your mutt indoors and (when outdoors) always apply the powder on it at least every hour.

it worked for our Cocker Spaniel before.

meron pa ring natirang buhay na ticks after applying frontline spray, baka diko naisprayan lahat ng part. baka i-try ko next time yung frontline na nasa plastic ampule. di kasi pwede pa lagyan kasi magbubuntis sya.

nilagyan ko ng frontline aso ko kahit buntis sya, so far, wala namang side effect.

frontline spray ba sis o yung isang froentline na pinapahid sa likod?
may kato pa din after one week of using frontline spray.

they don't have ticks anymore. i made sure that their surroundings are clean as well. i also bought Cymbush & cleaned our garage with it (mixed with water) to kill any pests that could attract my pets coat/skin.

^^^Yung frontline continuous yung effect niyan for a month.  Ang alam ko it won't kill pests agad-agad.  The ticks will die only after it feeds on the dogs blood because the drug is actually absorbed by the dogs skin ata.  But if there are still pests in the surroundings, pwedeng kapitan ulit yung dog mo.  They can live for months without feeding nga daw e.  But if effective pa yung application mo sa pet mo, mamamatay din yun.  Pag spray gamit mo kelangan buong katawan mabasa ng gamot, less messy yung nasa pipettes and cheaper too if your dog has long thick fur.

^How big ba are your dogs?

Suggest ko lang if your dogs are small and you want to use the frontline in pipettes, buy the big pipettes para hindi magastos.  Tapos hatiin mo na lang sa mga dogs mo.  The pipettes come in different sizes intended for dogs of different weights.  Depende kasi sa weight ng aso yung amount ng gamot na kailangan i-apply.

The smallest pipette is for dogs up to 22 lbs (.67 ml dosage), next  is for dogs 23-44 lbs (1.34 ml dosage), then there's one for dogs 45- 88 lbs (2.69 ml dosage).  So if each your dogs don't weigh more than 22 lbs, you can buy the biggest pipette and divide the contents for four of your dogs already.  You can just transfer the contents into a syringe so you can apply the appropriate amount on your dogs.  Just be sure you know how much your dogs weigh so you can give them correct dosage.

mga sis ok lang ba na after asuntol soap shampoohin ko naman dog ko with dog shampoo?...help pls..coz my baby has mange too..does asuntol cures galis too?..help pls..TIA!
