grocery din ang gusto kong business pag nakaipon n kami ng enough capital ng husband ko. kaya very helpful ang thread na to. okay na kaya ang 100 thou na capital if ever o kulang p un?

Capital would depend on the size of the store and the variety of merchandise you wish to sell. 100K would be more than enough if you do not intend to sell frozen products (ice cream, processed meats, etc.) and if the outlet's layout (ie.shelves, cabinets) is already installed.

Also, allot additional budget for the licenses, signage, etc. Goodluck, sis!

dapat ito business ko sana and open na dapt feb 15 kaya lang biglang nabago ang concept at naging laundry na hay.. kasi medyo malaki ang shell out ko ng pera dito... 100k is not enough kung gusto mo talaga na mini grocery. kasi kailangan bulk ang bibilhin mo para mas may discount ka.
buti na lang mga shelf lang napagawa ko which inturn ay gagamitin ko sa laundry business.the machines kasi i can avail that thru 6 months zero interest so pwede na and beside sayang ang tapon ng refilling station ni hubby....

hi mga sis, nakita ko tong site dahil sa kahahanap ko ng "how to start a mini grocery". im from antipolo city at balak ko mag open ng wholesale grocery business sa april. sino ba ang DISTRIBUTORS ng goods (canned goods, milk. coffee. cigarretes, alak, etc) dito sa aming lugar? please help...tnx

^Hello everyone! Below are the answers to your queries:

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I called or emailed consumer companies like P & G,CMC, Coke, San Miguel, etc. and asked for the distributors within our area. They will promptly reply and give you the list of their distributors. Tapos, they will schedule a visit to your store to discuss their terms.

We conduct daily and weekly inventory. Daily, after closing time, we count the remaining items tapos we reconcile figures every week. Matrabaho lang pero worth it naman kasi you will be assured of any missing items. Goodluck!

If you are within Paranaque area, let me know so that I could share the contact nos. of our distributors/suppliers.

we have one mini-convenience store and drugstore.. its actually new.. ma-trabaho siya pero carry naman.. we're actually adding new items by week. plan namin mag-add ng packed meals after holyweek.. we added dimsum and siopao na din, malakas siya infairness. also add eloads,cards etc for extra income..

naku sis medyo malaki na yata yung 5pesos na patong pag sari-sari store ang biz mo, siguro atleast 1-2pesos per pc, baka kasi malaki na yung 3pesos na tubo per pc or minsan depende rin sa prods na ititinda mo, try mo mag check sa ibang sari-sari stores then compare mo sa groceries para magkaidea ka sa cost...kami kasi piso piso lang ang tubo, bawi nalang sa mga sigarilyo, alak at softdrinks

sis graces, tinawagan ko lang manufacturers at nagpa-connect ako sa Sales Dept. tapos, bigay ko yung location address ng store ko then, nagpapadala sila ng agents mga after 2-3 days.

This is interesting... Since na mention na sa thread where to find suppliers for canned goods, softdrinks,..etc Could anyone share where to find suppliers of personal care products such as local and imported shampoo, soaps, lotions, etc?

^same thing sis. know the manufacturer, call their office and ask for the list of distributors in your area.

Hi sis mamita and other sister na may  grocery store. I plan to put up this kind of business location is palengke. Gusto ko sana magbenta ng redhorse beer kasi malakas ito, san miguel light and coke. Saan ba ako kukuha ng supplies and paano. Marami na rin grocery sa lugar namin but since maraming tao im sure kikita pa rin ako.

Also ask ko  lang  kung saan makabili ng mantika na maramihan, kasi sa palengke nakita ko sila na yung nag repack, also sugar may mga supplier din ba jan or sa divisoria sila bumibili.

PWede din po pahingi ng contact number sa mga distributor nyo foods and non foods item.. Location ko is muntinlupa. Thanks and god bless sa atin. Sana mag success tayo sa business .
