I have called up Pepsi sales office and was informed that inorder to avail of a free refrigerator, min. order of 40 cases should be placed. Is it the same with Coke?

Have you tried getting your supplies from Makro? Is it cheaper than getting from a local distributor of consumer products like URC?

How much is the salary of your help and cashier? Also, what time do you open/close your store?

sis ganon din sa coke may minimum order din sila monthly at kailangan din exclusive ka sa kanila para mabigyan ka ng free na ref.

sister ko ang nagmamanage ng buong building, tapos yung cashier 1,200 ang sahod at yung helper 1,000.

kumukuha kami ng mga products namin sa local distributor sa probinsya namin, wala kasi makro samin.

^capital would depend on the size of your store. Kasi, dapat mapuno para ma-enganyo customers to buy. My store is about 20 sqm only, so 100K was more than enough. Kasama na fixtures sa estimate.

Yung sa softdrinks, just call the nearest sales office to your store. Tapos, pupuntahan na kayo ng sales personnel to explain the details. Madaming options to buy your initial stocks, pwede sa Suy Sing, Makro or Puregold. Since may friend ako with the same business, she gave me a list of suppliers. Then, we got some stocks from them.

would it be better to have a store that the customers can walk into, or yung parang sari-sari store style? yung suy sing sis, do they deliver or pick up from their store? san pala store nila? then how much ang pwede mong mark-up? sorry if madaming questions, i really have no idea and no one to ask eh. thanks in advance sis.

^The set-up of our store is like that of a mini-mart wherein customers may come in and personally pick up the items they wish to buy. This way, there is a big possibility that they may buy items even if it's not included in their priority list.

You may call PLDT at 187 and ask for the Coca-Cola sales office in Antipolo. 

^^Suy Sing delivers only if your order amounts to 25K. If below that amount, you may order online and pick it up at their warehouse in Bicutan.  We haven't decided yet on the mark-up basta what we'll do as of the meantime, is to check the prices of the same items from nearby stores so that we'll have an idea. Our target is to offer the same items at a lower cost. Mukhang mas makakamura talaga if we get items from the accredited distributors by bulk, there are even some who offers a deferred payment scheme. Pero so far, wala pa kaming nakakausap na may consignment basis.

pag sari-sari store po ba, kailangan din ng business permits? dti? bir? as in.

^Yes, we have procured all permits. So far, DTI and Bgy. permits are needed especially in applying for a tie-up with a distributor/supplier of food and non food items alike.

eh di ba ang liit lang ng tubo sa sari-sari stores? as in, minsan malaki na 3 pesos. so kahit mga sari-sari stores, need pa apply? how much tax nila, 3% din ba?

medyo nakakatakot yung ganyang style... madami pa naman magaling magnakaw, yung ngang biggest can of milk naiipit in between the legs ng kahit super payat na tao.  meron kayo sis security na nagmamanman?

this is one business i don't want to try, sobrang liit na kasi ng kita, risky pa.  kahit sari sari store i don't like anymore.  natry ko na kasi, pag namili ka ng 3-7k worth of paninda kailangan mo na magtricycle if you don't have a car.  sa mahal ng gasolina baka talo pa if you have a car.  i think ok talaga ito if non-stop ang pagbili ng mga tao.  dun sa super matataong lugar.  kasi you can only make .25-4.00 per item.  tapos may uutang pa diba, minsan nakakatakot aawayin ka pa pag di ka nagpautang.  nagpautang me before mga worth 300 to 500 lang, talagang kung san san pa dadaan maiwasan ka lang bayaran.

i want to add, itong area namin residential, subdivision na halos lahat ng hubbies eh nasa abroad.  grabe, may naghahanap ng half kilo rice, puro sachet na coffee, creamer, etc...

^our helper is a distant relative who used to be a security guard before so bale, multi-tasking siya. Tulong2 at the same time look-out for any suspicious customers.

aside from the mini-grocery, we retail grains. Maganda din location kasi malapit sa tricycle stand and babaan ng jeeps. Bawal din utang sa store namin and since sa may commercial area siya then it is understandable. Infact, may mga nagsasabi na may-ari ng malapit na carinderia that they would order grains and grocery items from us.Kahit naman maliit lang profit basta mabilis lang turn-around ng capital, okay na rin.

Yes, we offer items na "tingi", sample sizes and big ones too. Our vision is to offer as many varieties in different packages per item. Sana talaga, our business will prosper (with God's grace)
