Paano kayo nakapunta sa abroad? (ways and means)

I'm planning din sana mag abroad like Canada kaso yung type ng job ko hindi naman pasok sa Express Entry ginagawa ko na lang nagchcheck ko ng hiring sa kung saang saang site baka makakuha ako ng employer para pwedi ako sa provincial nominee, hindi ko alam kung tama ba sya lol. Iniisip ko din magtraining ng caregiver.

Singapore first country namin. Nagjob-hunt lang dito at pinalad naman 5 years na ako at si hubby mag 6 years na dito

Next destination: Canada.  We love Singapore kase ang convenient but we are starting a family soon and for us di pang family ang environment dito workwise at sa taas ng cost of living. So ng wala pa kaming baby nag apply na kami PR sa Canada. God is good at na approve na PR namin so moving soon na din kami.

^saskatchewan kami sis. si hubby nagtake ng IELTS since sya main applicant. I think naka 7 sya sa IELTS. it took us around 4-5 months para ma-complete requirements bago nakapag apply sa PNP. inantay namin yung january intake for SINP. All the best sa application!

^^ Sis, thanks again! Oh so wala din sya job offer for Saskatchewan? Good to hear, thing is paiba iba kasi requirements yearly. Galing ambilis, January lang pala kayo nagsubmit.

We plan to take IELTS pareho para in case, pareho kami ready to be the Principal Applicant.

For Saskatchewan ngayon, may Occupation In Demand List sila na recquired. Closed sila ngayon eh. So abang abang.

Sis if I may ask ano profession nyo mag-asawa? IT (ECE graduate) husband ko and ako nasa Administrative field naman (Education graduate).

6.6 years naman ako dito sa Qatar whereas si husband 1 yr palang, we recently got married last April kaya migration naman ang next step. Hopefully bago mag baby.

^^ sis hindi ba nakakatakot kapag wala pang job offer tapos pupunta kayo agad dun?  medyo mahina luob ko sa ganyan. siguro kasi we already have 2 kids. takot akong magutom kami! or maging homeless! haha  mabuti kung kami lang mag asawa.

^^ Sis kasama sa requirement sa Canada yung Settlement Fund or in lay man's term "show money" depende sa no. of family members yung minimum amount na kailangan meron kayong hawak upon entering, idedeclare yun sa application, so for some time magagamit talaga yung settlement fund, well to settle hehe while on a job hunt, expected tayo na matustusan needs natin as a family even while jobless isa yan sa kailangan natin iprove upon application.

Some pumapasok muna sa mga Plan B or C jobs nila while waiting for their Plan A jobs. You know jobs to pay the bills. (i.e.fastfoods and supermarkets).

Sa website ng CIC, roughly 500k for 2 family members yung nasa option so dapat above that amount hawak na cash for us to get by and settle. So kung 4 kayo, mas malaki I assume kailangan.

Risk talaga, katakot mabakante ng matagal, lalo na foreign land kaya isa sa ihahanda talaga namin mabuti prior to applciation is yung settlement fund.

Hi sis, Jan 2016 kami nagsubmit sa SINP. tapos nagkaron ng final decision yung application namin Mar 2017 medyo long process na nga daw sya kase depende sa visa office na nagpprocess. Pero di naman din kami super nagmamadali may times lang na parang bat ang bagal yung iba super bilis.

I suggest si hubby ang gawin nyong principal applicant. Nasa in demand occupation list ang IT. NOC 2171 hubby ko. Halos same tayo ng background pero sa construction industry naman ako.

streetsmartgirl Sis Construction Industry din ako hehe, Coordinator/Admin/Exec. Assistant dito sa Qatar for 6.6 years. Oo nga eh ok din IT seems to be in demand din maski saang province kaya pareho kami magpeprepare para ready mag PA maski sino samin.

Medyo matagal nga process nung sainyo, but I agree kung di naman nagmamadali ok lang, pero baka ganon talaga sa ibang Provinces, di kaya? Praying and hoping na kami din, baka next year pa kami Sis magstart, preparation muna kami for IELTS and savings.

Kelan plano nyo mag move? Question lang Sis baka may idea ka, yung sa Employment Certificate ng husband mo, talaga bang nilagay nya yung detailed tasks and responsibilities nya sa lahat? I mean sa present Employer madali hingien pero yung previous Employers, medyo mahirap ata. COE lang na usual kasi diba binibigay.

Got a  tourist visa in 1981 after college to follow a girlfriend who went to the US a year earlier but she  married somebody else  to get a green card.  Worked  in southern CA for two years but  went home after  feeling lonely and homesick.  Shortly after I arrive back home, I  met my future wife who  has a pending immigrant petition from her parents who are already in the US. After several years of waiting, her petition came in 1990,   got myself a student visa this time, got married and the rest is history. Almost 30 years now in Los Angeles  and retired. God has plans for everybody but does not tell you beforehand.

I know it's all about hard work, effort, research and connections, pero minsan yung pagaabroad nasa fate din siguro, if you'd tell me I'll be here in Qatar 10 years ago, I would have laughed so hard. I have no plans at all of going here, no connections, heck I don't even know this country exists haha Dubai/Saudi etc lang naman matunog na bansa in the Middle East. When the opportunity knocks, you have to open the door, ika nga.

Lakasan talaga ng loob ang pangingibang bansa. I got a PR status in Canada because of my husband but even so andun pa din yung takot. First time ko magresign ng walang kapalit and I have to support my dad pa so hinati ko yung ipon ko for my baon and for my dad kasi hindi ko pa sure kung kelan ako magkakawork at kung kelan ako makakapagpadala sa kanya. I gave him six months worth of allowance. Thank God, nakahanap naman ko ng work after a month.

I invited my sister here pero for some reason, ayaw or mahina lang talaga siguro yung loob nya. To think that she does not have to worry that much because all financial aspects will be shouldered by our Tita and myself.

^Naku, sinabihan ko na sya na hindi lahat may ganyang opportunity kagaya sa kanya. Pero mahirap din kasi mamilit, baka ako pa yung masisi pag hindi nya nagustuhan. My broher in law, went home din sa Philippines for good after he got his Canadian citizenship. Mas gusto nya daw talaga sa Pinas.
