Paano kayo nakapunta sa abroad? (ways and means)

^I thought so sis. Balak ko din sana mag aral ulit, either culinary or education.. but I'm not sure if in demand din ang mga fields na yan abroad. I  really need a shift of career na. Mag 4 yrs na ako sa BPO pero walang nagyayari. No fulfillment, and it's really a dead-end job for me. Not for the long term.

my cousin had a short stint as a call center agent there sa Pinas before he went to UK for a caregiver job.  After 2 yrs in UK he went here sa Dubai and he got accepted sa Central Reservation of a Hotel Chain.  No experience sa hospitality industry, pero magaling kase makipagusap at makipagtsikahan so yun nagustuhan sya nung nag interview sa kanya thru phone (well I recommended him din so siguro plus point din yun? hehe)

Another acquaintance naman nursing grad pumunta dito as visit visa thru his brother, he applied naman sa customer service ng insurance, yung mga nag aapprove or nag checheck ng insurance claims..

Marami kang papasukan if you are in the customer service industry kase almost all industry kelangan yan.  But syempre talagang tyagaan din sa paghahanap ng work at swerte sa package na matatanggap.

If you want to learn something, learn a new language kase plus points yan sa mga customer service jobs dito. Nihonggo, French, Arabic, Mandarin, German, Spanish Language ang Ilan sa mga hinahanap dito sa Dubai

My mom works as a nurse in one hospital in [textspeak!]... Her second husband also works in the same hospital and is a local in the country. I first went using visiting visa, entered the hospital as a trainee... then I went through the exam and interview... Came back to the Philippines to apply through their agency... to make things legal ... and joined the workforce after about 2 months. Employed and earning...

kung work, maganda direct hire then later on, pwede ka na mag apply as immigrant. don't know the exact process tho. wala akong balak kasi

hi sisses! im planning to work abroad, but since im still studying pa, my plans our apply work here in the philippines and sabay yung pag study. then if tapos na [textspeak!] masteral ko, i plan to work abroad sana. by that time, 28 or 29 na ako, is it too late to work abroad ba in that age? baka kasi im too old na for it. hayy grabe.

once palang ako nakapag out of the country and it's bec of work. sana nga magkaron ulit ng opportunity, mas gusto ko kung dun na talaga ako makapag work para makaipon.

Pumunta ko sa Malaysia as a tourist, then na approved ako for 5 months kasi nagtatrabaho dun si Mama. after 5 months bumalik ako dito sa Pinas nahirapan akong maghanap ng work dun na based sa experiences ko. Sa BPO ako for almost 5 years bago ako pumunta dun. Mahirap kapag costumer service kasi kelangan madami kang alam na languages. Saka mababa lang ang offers kapag sa offices mas malaki pa dito sa Pinas. Balak ko sana sa Dubai may mga nakakaalam ba dito kung paano magwork dun?

^ kadalasan ginagawa ng mga gusto mag apply for dubai. kumukuha muna ng visit visa (30 days) tapos apply lang ng apply hanggang matanggap sa work.. tapos dun na i-process ng employer ang working/resident visa. mas maganda if may kakilala ka or may alam ka na pwede mong accomodation while you're still applying.

i wanna go to the UK sana. kahit student visa.. pano po ba?

my maternal grandfather took his medical residency here in the late '50s.  then everyone in the family followed, literally!!!     so the answer is via family emigration.
