My husband and I went to Dubai together as visit visa last 2006. We are lucky to find a job within 1 month, my husband even got his in 2weeks. Qualifications and Working experience really count when you apply abroad. Competition is stiff.

matagal ba talaga kung emplyment visa? i mean, i tried applying thru agencies here in the phils. mapower pooling eh. wait lang daw for employer's interview...yun na daw and final interview. pag natanggap, process na ng visa. ask ko lang kung matagal ba talaga un?

Yung friend ni hubby pinasok siya sa work, so nagpunta siya dito sa Dubai employment na, then i followed after 10days, visit visa and luckily found a job (with really good salary, during that time) after 4days.

from processing to interview, maybe 1-2 months. depende sa need ng company eh. But be sure to ready the documentation para walang hassle like kung sa UAE ka, dapat may red ribbon ka na from DFA.

nauna muna si hubby dito sa dubai, employment visa na sya. after 8 months, sumunod ako on visit visa. after almost 2 weeks e nakakita nako ng trabaho.

immigrant visa. my dad was petitioned by his brother who is a US citizen (retired US Navy) and his visa extended to my Mom, me, and my younger brother. I have two older brothers who weren't able to come because they were over 21 years old when the US govt granted my dad his immigrant visa. Pero naka-petition na rin sila ngaun. When we got here that was the first thing my Dad did.

nagpass ako ng cv sa agent via email then ayun na. natanggap naman as telecom engineer in Doha Qatar.pero 2mos lang ang contract ko dun tapos same process dito naman ako sa DUbai.6mos naman ang contract ko dit pero extendable naman daw,lets see after 6mos.

[textspeak!] sa red ribbon ba ng documents, ako lang ang magprocess nun? kahit mag-apply [textspeak!] thru agency, kelangan pa un? or [textspeak!] agency na mag-asikaso nun? or while waiting for the emploer's interview, pwedeng kunin ko na yun noh kasi it takes weeks ata before makuha [textspeak!] red ribbon. hindi naman masayang [textspeak!] pera ko dun noh? kasi Duabi naman talaga ang gusto kong puntahan kasi andun [textspeak!] BF ko, hehe. thanks sa inisghts nyo. mga magkano kaya gastos? thank u again...

swerte mo naman, malaki din ba ang placement fee sa agency dito sa atin? kasi my brother who is an IT gusto din mag-apply sa Singapore, pero hindi namin alam saan mag-apply at paano ang processing.

My husband applied for Skilled Independent visa to Australia, i'm his dependent.
We got here as Permanent Residents, just over a month ago. So far, so good.
