I have an AOA, what sound does yours make?  I haven't encountered any problems with my netbook since I got it almost a year ago.

since you are using acer try looking to their main site first before going to other sites it might be easier to get it from them and you are making sure it will work for you.

sino ang nakatry na ng acer timeline? mukhang maganda, slim lang and it claims na 8 hours battery life. ok kaya talaga to?

We just bought aspire 4736 last month.. and this is my first laptop. so far ok naman performance nya. I get to play DotA pati sa garena.. Kaso laging may lumalabas ng Optimal resolution chuchu dun sa lower right corner malapit sa time. anyone experiencing this? Di ko kasi malaman kung kelangan babaan ko yung resolution ng display settings ko or what.

May nakatry narin ba mag laro ng The Sims2 or 3 using Acer?

^^ I've played SIMS2 on my Acer Aspire 4736Z. Ok naman sya. However, like you, may lumalabas din na Optimal Resolution thing when I exit the program, pero ok lang... No problems encountered so far.

May na eencounter rin ako na problem naman, sa display. Yung parang line na nag fliflicker pero nawawala rin naman sya. I can't explain ulit haha pero meron rin ba sa inyo nakaexperience nito? Altho mga 1 or 2 seconds lang sya. It bothers me though.

@ hopia_: Orig kasi yung SIMS2 na I installed. Takot ako na may mangyari sa lappy ko kung Pirated. I advise you borrow an Orig SIMS2 na lang then install it to your lappy. Mas safe pa.

I haven't experienced any pixel/display problems pa naman on my lappy, kaya very happy pa ako. Hehe.

sabi nila, Gateway is made by Acer din daw. Okay kaya yung netbooks nila? Im planning to get the LT2003i.

@WhizDy... Acer bought both Emachines & Gateway computers, so it is the same quality as Acer. Gateway is actually a very good brand, especially in desktop computing in the US.

@cassiopeia... Try checking TipidPC. They have sellers who sell Original ACER Accessories. Hope that helped.

hubby bought me a new acer 4720Z..kaya naman kahit naiiyak ako i let go ang lenovo ko eh wala ako choice kasi aanhin ko naman 2 laptops.. though so far so good naman nga ito.. and dami features na wala sa lenovo ko..

I agree! Using the Aspire 2930 now and loving it! Has EVERYTHING I need!

really?? wow!! how was it??? super ok kasi yung specs nya compared sa iba pang acer models..and ang tataas ng specs.. although mas makapal siya mejo thick pero ok na coz its only 12" lang..yung iba 14" na eh..hay,.sana mabili ko na..

Yup! It's specs are the best! Fast with big capacity and all the bells and whistles I can think of.  Although it didn't have a firewire port, the express card slot made it possible (already bought a firewire express card btw  ) 

'Was actually looking at Eeepc, MSI Wind & Compaq CQ20 at first but immediately decided on the Aspire 2930 when I read the specs.  Though bigger than the Eeepc & MSI Wind, I wouldn't trade the convenience of the internal optical drive for the weight.

The only  downside I can think of is it's "looks".  I find the plain black cover a tad dull.  Planning to buy a laptop skin soon!
