ang dami palang me problem sa battery ng acer.  mine don't last for an hour din. I just bought it last may, balak ko nga sana ipapalit kasi di ba may warrranty naman, may nakatry na ba dito magpapalit and is it possible? its an aspire 4715z.  iniisip ko tuloy baka nagkamali ako ng pili ng brand, hp kasi talaga first choice ko.  alam ko natry ng kapatid ko namaremove yung battery while just plugging it, pero ayaw naman.

i have an acer aspire 4710, when i just want to use my power cord, i just remove my battery so it doesnt get overcharged, masama daw yun ... my laptop works naman even if only with the power cord on and without the battery pack attached ...

also, if your battery is already fully charged, remove the power cord na and start using the battery til maubos ... dont use powercord and then nakalagay pa din yung battery mo na fully charged (magkasabay sila) kasi that will affect your batt life ... that was my problem too before (mabilis maubos yung batt), but the acer guys explained the above to me, ok na now ...

haka haka lang yun. batteries used to protect your laptops from power surge and outages. its more expensive to have your laptop repaired due to power spikes than to buy a spare battery once it has reached its lifespan.

useful note: batteries are categorized as consumables. whether you unplug your lappy or not to prolong the battery (kuno) life, once it reached its lifespan useless na siya.

bagong laptop user lang ako. i bought an acer din.  question naman, basta nakasaksak sa power, ok lang ba na the laptop's open kahit mga 10 hours straight?  i mean, umiinit di ba?

^sis, you have to rest din kahit sandali, iinit pa din yan.

if the laptop is not in use, then unplug it. but i recommend that batteries should be installed while in use. there's one option though, if you want to run your lappy without the battery, make sure you're plugged to a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to protect your machine from power surges and outage.

if you feel na mabilis ma drain yung battery ng lappy niyo, try doing a calibration. you can check the net for the procedures.

^meron silang repair shop.  I bought mine sa silicon valley, then meron silang repair shop, pag di nila kaya, pinapadirecho na nila sa Acer, its in UN Ave., malapit sa Robinson's Otis in Manila. Natapos ko na kasi yung calling card eh, i think pwede ka naman magpa-repair sa kanila, kahit di mo dito binili, ACER naman ang brand ng laptop eh.

oh I hope madala ko yung laptop ko dun, naku ang mahal pa naman ng mga gastusin ngaun tapos masisira pa, sana talaga pwede nila maayos. mahal ba ang charger ng acer?  Im not sure kung ano ang sira eh, kung yung battery or charger. huhuhu. aspire 5600 pala acer ko.

question regarding sa pag-alaga ng laptop... kasi yung acer ko has a white keyboard. paano pwede i-maintain ang whiteness non? feeling ko kasi pagtagal baka maging yellowish.  tas sa screen naman, anong pwede ipunas dun? pwede ba yung cloth na ginagamit for camera lenses?

buy a microfiber cloth  most computer stores sell them (octagon does, definitely)
