how much is the required show money for the Chinese Embassy?

^^You don't need any show money when you apply for a Chinese visa. If you plan to get the visa yourself you'll have to submit the required documents stated in their website (for first time applicants). For second time applicants, all you need are hotel accommodation vouchers, airline bookings/tickets and your passport with the previous Chinese sticker visa.

I prefer to have my visa done by a travel agency. Less hassle and they can prepare dummy hotel vouchers and airline bookings/tickets. Konti lang naman service charge nila ranging from Php300 to 500 for Makati area based travel agents, cheaper kung Binondo based.

thank you mama squeak. I heard kasi from a few people that I need at least 300k in my bank account. just resigned from my job last October so Im afraid i might get declined. They dont care about past travels unless its in China, like you dont have leverage if you have other visas to other countries.

You just need to have a minimum of 50K in your bank account via a bank cert. Yun yung ni require sa amin nung Uni-Orient Makati when we first applied for a Chinese Visa.

^The travel agency who handled my visa application the first time never asked for one. Forgot lang which travel agency kasi 2005 pa yun but they were also based in Makati. My colleagues at work also were not asked for their bank accounts. Some of them were part of a tour and some were not. Hmmm..... Bakit iba-iba yung requirements nila?

Anyway, getting a Chinese visa is not as difficult as getting a US visa. So no worries really na made-decline ang visa application.

^nyek, 2005 pa pala. wala pang requirements nung 2005. nagstart nung 2008, olympics season. tapos frmo that time on, puro may requirements. tapos pahigpit ng pahigpit thanks to our fellow filipinos na illega workers and tnt doon. mga hayop sila.

anyway, tama sabi mo, getting china visa is not as difficult as getting US visa. and at least meron mga promo fare going to China hehe

^2005 my first time to apply but marami sa colleagues ko recently lang. They take advantage kasi ng mga promo fares to China. Walang hinanap na bank accounts sa kanila. All the rest of the requirements hinanap like NBI clearance, etc. I'm wondering hindi din kaya palakasan sa mga travel agencies sa Chinese embassy? Kung may connect sila di na masyado tinitingnan yung mga requirements.

My boyfie tried to submit kasi a bank cert na mga around 47K lang ang laman nun.. and Uni-Orient didnt accept it.. sigurado daw na upfront ma dedeny na un application.. kaya we made sure talaga na to meet the minimum 50K requirement.. sinobrahan na ren namin just in case. This was just in November 2010.

I guess with some of the records ng mga pinoy na nag TNT sa China, they decided to have more requirements for the Visa application, especially for those applying for the first time. Pag mag re renew ka kasi, ticket and hotel voucher lang, pwede na. But yeah, as long as you have all the requirements naman, 98% sure na approved na yan.

talaga? uy, baka fake bank certificate yun ginawa ng agency for them. Impossible na hindi hingiin. Unless yun nga, tama ka, baka meron kakilala na consul yun agency. Which agency natry nila recently? Gusto ko din sana matry

^You know what baka nga. Kasi for my succeeding application, yung agency na nag provide ng dummy hotel voucher and ticket/bookings ko. I just gave them my old passport with the old visa and application form. Or as I suspect earlier meron silang connect inside the embassy.

sis gayleganda, pano nyo na book yung hkg-macau-beijing? thru agency po ba? exit nyo sis from beijing to Philippines na?

Is it just me or ayaw na talaga ma-access yung China thread 1?

Anyway, we're going on a HKG-Macau-Beijing trip come September. We'll be bringing our 3year old. Di ko lang sure though how many days we should stay in HKG and how many days in Beijing. Around how much pocket money kaya should we bring? Assuming we'll visit tourist spots lang in Macau, go to Disneyland and Ocean Park in HKG, then visit tourist spots as well in Beijing? Not much shopping.

Also, are taxis/buses/trains readily available in Beijing? Ayoko sana mag-tour group kasi I want to have our time in our hands. Mahirap kasi we have a toddler.

Any suggested itinerary for Beijing?

hi mga sis! my aprents and i are planning to go to China..ano po bang magandang itinerary: hkg-macau-shanghai-xiamen-Phils or Mla-Xiamen-Shanghai-Hkg-Macau-Hkg-Phils...pwede ba yun? Please enlighten.

February po ba very cold pa sa china? San banda merong snow? How about on March?

try this iti: Mla-Shanghai-Xiamen-Hkg-Macau-Manila
then from shanghai-Fuzhou take high speed railway. from fuzhou - xiamen there's a new line that opened last april wherein u can reach xiamen for about 1.5-2hours. or take a plane ride from shanghai-xiamen (around 1.5hours)
U can go to hongkong from xiamen by bus ( I don't know how long is the trip, according to my fiance overnight daw by sleeper bus)
madali na lang pumunta hongkong to macau by ferry.

Is it possible to insert shenzen sa itinerary pa? or malabo na? how about beijing? sorry ha, we would like to maximize our vacation lang.
