below are the requirements for application who will be sponsored by their parents or Husband / Wife for Tourist or transit Visa
1.   Valid NBI Clearance for traveled abroad (original and not personal copy)
2.   Personal Bank Statements updated within 3 months before the  application, Original Timed deposit Certificate, Original Land Title, Car Registration of their parents or husband/wife.
3.   Proof of relationship such as Original Birth Certificate or Marriage Contract issued by  the National Statistics Office
4.   Affidavit of Support
5.   Recent Income Tax return of parents or husband/wife (original and photocopy)
6.   Round Trip Air Ticket (photocopy)
7.   Hotel Confirmation (photocopy)
8.   Other requirements may be required by the consul if necessary

I forgot to add pala.  If you're giving a Bank Certificate, make sure it's the latest, meaning not more than one month.

What if we're applying by the end of October and our travel date is on Dec pa, we;ll be submitting a Bank Cert same month, okay lang ba yun kahit Dec pa kami alis? Or do I sound lame? Haha sorry.

I've traveled to 5 different places abroad DYI-style. Can I do the same in Beijing? Or will it be difficult for someone like me who don't speak Mandarin?

My mom already has the sticker visa, but she will be sponsoring our trip. Does she have to prepare all the documents pa like ITR, Bank cert, etc?

Since she's sponsoring, kailangan talaga.  She has to show that she can pay for all of you, which definitely means her bank cert has to be more than 50k.

iluvescadasport is right.  If you're applying in October, your Cert or Statement should be dated October.  Yung sa brother ko pinaulit kasi we applied September pero August yung Cert niya.

Ill go there pero baka may nakaranas na ng weather ng beijing ng nov, what type of clothes should I bring?
gloves? scarf?

i will be going on nov too!  last year, nov 1 may snow. i am very hopeful na meron snow ulit. approved na daw visa ko. yehey!

yes, we went to beijing last sept. we were able to communicate with the people. some understand english but they're not that fluent in speaking. kasi nag self study daw sila. but you'll be fine. if you're buying something and you can't understand them, ask for a calculator if they have one or you could also ask them to write the price.

sa tingin ko di pa naman sis, we were there last week lang and may times pa rin na mainit pag maraming tao, lalo na sa Shanghai Expo. Para ka lang nasa Baguio.

I'll be in Beijing second week of November and I'll be bringing winter clothes na. Hubby had a flight from BJS yesterday and he said it was already cold. Temperature range was from 4C to 10C.

I am also going to Shanghai 3rd week of November, it's my first time sa mainland China so I'm quite excited!   Bringing some fall clothes na because the weather must be cold na.  Any good shopping haunts in Shanghai?   I'm actually just going there to "feel" China but of course a little shopping won't hurt.

Got my passport with visa today and I'll be leaving on Tuesday na. I hope the weather will cooperate. Okay lang na malamig wag lang umuulan.

I was in Shanghai 3rd week of October and it was cold na pero nice pa siya...Baka mas malamig na this time...

Just came back from a wonderful Beijing trip! It was super cold, 5-8C but it was clear all the way. Went to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. What an amazing structure! We had the wall almost all to ourselves. Galing! We were also able to visit the Olympic Park, Forbidden City, Tiannamen Square and Wanfujing. A little bitin since we only had a short time. Will definitely be going back!
