^^ when did you apply? Coz when i called the makati office of uniorient last they said its 1900. But compared to other travel agencies, that's already cheap. Others ask for more than 2k for the visa assistance.

My china visa was also processed by Uni-orient (look for leslie chua) for P1,700/pax (single entry).  didnt submit any requirements...she asked if it was my first time to apply for a china visa here in the Philippines, i said yes.  my previous china visa was issued in hk border before entering shenzen...

Yes, sis. First time to go to China Mainland but I had a visa for Shenzhen during our HK trip. You can call and look for Jaymee kasi siya yung nagprocess ng sa akin, 1 passport lang.

Problem lang, nagdadalawang-isip kami tumuloy sa China because of the hostage incident.

^^ shenzhen is already part of mainland china. Kaya iba yung visa requirements.
Sa friend ko na nakapunta sa china a few yrs ago,  application form with picture, plane ticket and hotel vouchers lang yung kinuha ng uni orient makati ofc.
Sa uni orient na ako nag punta last wk for the visa processing. I paid 1900 for it.
Sa akin application for with picture, plane ticket, nbi clearance for travel, sss contribution, bank certificate, certificate of employment, company id,   at itr  kasi di pa ako naka punta ng mainland china. I've been to hk and macau.
Sana makakuha kami ng tourist visa. Sayang kasi  mga nagastos na namin.

would love to go to China for vacation, pero hindi ba mahirap magtour dito pag DIY because of the language barrier?

^For me mas mabilis magsubway sa HK compared sa Mainland China. If you can't speak Mandarin or pag wala kang kasama that can speak the language, take a guided tour na lang not yung DIY.

cancelled ng cebu pac flyt namin on nov 7-14 but i rebooked it yesterday for nov4-12! [textspeak!] ang best time to apply for a visa?end of this month na kaya for our trip?

^4 days lang processing ng visa na single entry valid for 3 mos. so better if sa October ka pa kumuha para mas mahaba ang cover period in case na madelay pa ang flight dates mo.

^wala pa nga sis eh. we postponed the trip dapat 1st week ng September pero we thought of getting a package from Scorpio Travels.

I applied 2nd week of aug. Uni-Orient binondo.

may alam ba kayong nag-ooffer ng Shanghai expo + nearby provinces package tours? last minute, hubs' wanting to go to the expo and also wants to visit places lang hangzhou and anhui.

you can ask Panda, sila ata meron specialty na ganun. If madami kayo (more than 10 people), I think you can make you own itenerary and they'll arranged it for you. That's what my mom and her friends did last time.

I do remember Panda offering tour including shanghai+hangzhou+suzhou. anhui not sure. But which specific place in anhui? like huangshan? Or the whole Anhui province talaga?

^I saw sa Chinese newspaper Panda offers tour to huangshan. pero meron kasabay na ibang city. not sure lang if it's with shanghai or with other mountains din. try ko hanapin ulit yun newspaper

^i called Panda yesterday, the one who answered my call said they don't have huangshan tour. just the shangahi 4d expo tour daw. i browsed online and saw this site and their package http://www.greatwalladventure.com/ChinaCityTour/Shanghai-Expo-Huangshang-Tour.htm

anybody here tried getting/booking with them? legit kaya ito? this 6d tour is just perfect for me.
