^^ march weather will start to get warmer.. umpisa na ng spring so it will be around 11-18 degrees

^i dont think nagssnow sa shanghai around feb/ march kasi central china ang shanghai. you might have more luck in beijing sa feb

me, my mom and my bro are scheduled to have a china tour via UNI ORIENT TRAVEL INC. from april 24- may 3

here's our iterinary: **i wont be typing the whole iterinary lang, yung mga shopping places lang kasi i want to ask for tips.

Day 1 Manila-Shanghai-- shopping at Yu Yuan bazaar
Day 2 Shanghai
Day 3 Shanghair- Beijing
Day 4 Beijing-- shopping at Yaxiu or Xiushui Market
Day 5 Beijing
Day 6 Beijing - Xian
Day 7 Xian
Day 8 Xian - Guilin
Day 9 Guilin - Lijiang - Guilin - shopping at West street
Day 10 Guilin - Xiamen - Manila

Now, please give tips dun sa places na pupuntahan namin for shopping since limited time lang kami sa shopping i want sana to get the best deals i can get, dami kasi nag kwkwento sakin na madami din nanloloko dun telling you na one of a kind yung items pero meron din pala dito sa pinas pag uwi..

another question pla.. may $200 difference kasi if we get the 5 star hotel compared sa 4 star hotel..
what do you guys suggest? sa 5 star nalang kami?

^ sis mag 4 star hotel na lang kayo since hindi naman kayo stay lagi sa hotel, sayang yung $200 pang shopping din yun!

^ oo sis, isipin mo sa china sa $200 mo eh ang dami dami mo ng mabibili nun! atsaka, magaganda naman ang mga 4 star hotels nila, at tutal the whole day naman kayo hindi magstay sa hotel sa gabi lang naman kayo andun para matulog. Pagmag shoshopping kayo sa china kung hindi kayo maalam sa language nila, dapat magdala kayo ng calculator wherever you go para sa tawaran

dapat pag tumawad ka eh 50% less agad ang tawad ha. Pag nakita kasi nila na hindi ka taga doon eh mataas ang price na ibibigay nila sa iyo. Tulad nung nagbakasyon kami sa guanzhuo sa family house ng husband ko, nung nagshopping kami nung ako nakipag usap eh ang taas ng bigay sa akin, nung husband ko na ang kumausap eh dahil pareho silang language ayun 50% less ang bigay sa amin kesa nung unang price na bigay nya sa akin. Mambarat ka sis pero dapat naka smile ka at friendly para mababa ang ibigay nila sa iyo na presyo

was in shanghai in china a few yrs back and my only advice is you have to learn how to make drama when haggling ...

i was buying something in shanghai, i think a suit for my hubby. when i saw the tagprice (which i dont remember anymore exactly), let's just pretend its RMB500 ... tell the saleslady, "that's expensive!" ... the saleslady will usually ask you "how much price you want to pay?" ... you say, "hmmmm ... how about RMB100" ... the saleslady will naturally say, "no.no.no... too low!" ... then I said, "then ok, i don't buy" and sabay labas ng store at alis ... bumilang ka ng 1,2,3 ... biglang may kakalabit sa likod mo sabay sabi, "okay, just pay RMB200" ... ang sabi ko SURE! ... sarap ng feeling!

^hehe tama! ganyan nga style same with sa hongkong street market.. as in minsan nakakainis na kasi minsan you are just curious how much ang isang item then hindi mo naman talaga plan bilhin tapos hahabulin ka talaga nila, tapos sasabihin pa nila bagay sayo etcetc. hehe kulit!

question girls.. what's the weather in beijing pag april? i checked the weather forecasts online and as of now, it goes as low as 2degrees celcius. but i'm not so convinced that it is THAT cold! hehe! will i really need to bring a coat or a pair of boots? thanks! =)

^ay naku sis, don't believe the weather forecasts ... when i went last april 2006, the internet showed that the weather will be cold, less than 10degrees celsius. so here i am bringing all of my cold weather stuff, and to my painful surprise, it was humid and hot when i got to beijing. i ended up ditchin' all what i brought and ended up shopping for my entire wardrobe for the trip. kainis! the good side is, shopping is cheap in beijing!

i guess the best tip would be to just bring stuff for any type of weather. good luck!

^^thanks so much! you're a great help! i've been a victim of internet weather forecasts myself, ito naman 25degrees celcius daw but when i got there, parang 10degrees. i usually refer to the "Feels like: __degrees" category pa nga pero kahit yung 'feels like' nila, doesn't feel like it. hehe!

i guess i should prepare tanggal-able clothes in case it gets warm and patong-able clothes in case it gets cold. thanks! =)

We're from davao pa kasi and I googled the chinese embassy. Its in manila pa ata. Pwede bang agency nalang kuha for us? And kailangan pa ba ng personal appearance sa pagclaim? Thanks in advance!

^sa agency na lang kayo kumuha, 1 week lang andyan na agad ang china visa nyo. Kami kasi nung pumunta kami ng china eh sa agency lang nagpakuha ng visa eh... atleast la na pagod na pagpunta pa sa chinese embassy. Konting agency fee lang naman ang babayaran nyo eh, la pa pagod.
