hmm ano ba gusto mong pag aralan?? hindi namn masyadong expensive [textspeak!] education nila here, syempre depende na lang kung ano school, and kung annong pag aaralan  mo...

ako kasi ang pinagaaralan ko here is mandarin.. medyo expensive kung titignan pero ayos lang rin...

TIP: if you are on a TOUR do not EXPECT that the tourguide will let you SHOP til' you drop coz ang priority nila ay ipakita yung mga tourist spots.. how sad. pero masaya na din kasi maexplore mo talaga kung ano maganda sa china.

hi sis! When I was in Hangzhou, I was with my Chinese colleagues so it was easier for me to navigate the place and communicate with the locals there since may interpreter na ako.  However, when in Shanghai, it was difficult especially in my last day kasi wala na yung mga kasama ko and the Pinay whom I met sa forums who helped me in my 1 day stay in Shanghai.

^^ pag sa university ka aral mandarin, expensive talaga. bawi ka na lang by renting a place outside para masmatipid compare if you stay sa school dorm. pero for me, mas natuto ako mag chinese when I studied there kasi siyempre i was forced to speak the language. and pwede ka din maghanap ng language partner doon

san maganda mag aral ng mandarin dyan sa china? i'm looking for a language school. gusto ko sana sa beijing pero sabi ng friend ko mas mahal mag aral sa beijing. her friend suggested to study in xiamen. kaso di naman sinabi kung anong language school yun.  my tsinoy friend suggested that i study in beijing for 1 yr. parang 6-8 months lang kaya ko mag stay sa china to study.

ang alam kong kilalang school here in shanghai is, Fudan University and Jiao tong University.
though marami schools na rin ang nag oofer ng classes ng mandarin....

right now im studying at Jiao tong University.. actually, okey ang mga naging teacher ko dito, they are actually good.

hmmm mas mura sa Xiamen for sure.

pero ang issue lang baka di mo masyadong matutunan [yung standard mandarin??

kasi di nila talaga yun yung language nila... meron silang other dialect na sinsalita
parang, pumunta ka sa cebu then, doon ka mag aaral ng tagalog... smthing like that....

mas oki kung sa beijing na lang kung gusto mo talagang maging expert doon sa langauge

i looked at the web sites of the schs you mentioned, parang mas user friendly yung sa sch mo. panu ka nag apply dyan? nag send ka lang ng application form and other requirements?

plan ko kasi pumunta muna somewhere in china to look for a sch at mamasyal. kaso baka mahal na mamasyal pa ako bago mag aral dyan.

Yes, sis. Very true at yun ang maganda dun. At ang saya kasi nga we got to explore Beijing, ang ganda. Nung third day namin, yung driver namin nagalit pa dun sa chef nung pinagkainan namin kasi ang tagal ng food na inorder namin eh hinahabol namin ang sunset sa Mutianyu Great Wall eh ang travel time pa naman is around 2 hours.   Nangingiti nalang yung tour guide sa amin and inexplain samin na siyempre ayaw din daw nilang mamiss namin yung chance na makita and maexperience ang sunset sa Mutianyu Great Wall lalo na flight na namin kasi kinabukasan back to the Philippines.

Naku they'l also bring you to places na may commission sila. like jewelry, jade-making factory, or silk.  na hindi naman talaga part ng itinerary! 

Kaya went I went to silk street a couple of times, not with a tour group.  sumasama lang ako ng tour kung malalayong places and hindi practical magdrive/commute (ie greatwall)

^^ talaga bang kasali lagi yung mga jewelry factory sa tour? kasi tuwing napupunta kami ng mom ko palaging may nabibili syang jewelry, dun tuloy napupunta majority ng gastos namin.

^ sis hindi siya kasama sa sinabi ng tour egency dito sa pinas. pero yup laging kasama yun dahil may comission nga ang mga tourguide kapag may bumili

pero meron namn doon nakalagay sa site kung paano...
fill out the form then pay yung application fee sa bank of china ( not china bank) in paseo de rosas, makati. then wait mo yung letter nila.

ang monthly allowance ko is 2500rmb. kasama na doon yung mga bills ko

wow buti ka pa nacocontrol mo na 2500 rmb per month dati kami ng friends ko umaabot na ng 3k rmb per month hahaha

then if you want, paguwi ko ng maJuly, bgay ko sayo [textspeak!] mga ibang gamit ko na makakahelp sayo here sa shnaghai...
