I store all my bags in their original dust bags, pero tambak tambak lang sila sa isang shelf sa closet ko.  I need to be more organized, and I actually prefer seeing them all so I can use them more often, pero ang hirap kasi mag-aaccumulate ng dust and dirt.

^  Coach Leather Cleaner and Leather Moisturizer are available for sale.  The Coach leather cleaner and conditioner should also work for Gucci leather.  Haven't seen them being sold in Manila, though.  Apple Leather Cleaner and Leather Care/conditioner are available through eBay and Multiply.  They're also available at Accessory Lab (2nd Level, Rockwell PowerPlant mall).

I store my leather bags especially the ones that are luxury brands in their dust bags and keeping the original shape, as much as possible I don't fold them. If the original dust bag isn't available anymore I just get a random dustbag basta malinis hehe

Given our generally warm and humid weather... bags are best kept in dustbags with those humidifier packets thrown inside the bag and outside. 

Give each bag sufficient space too... do not store them patong patong or dikitdikit together.

It also pays to stuff Japanese paper inside to maintain the shape thereof.

The best care for bags:  use these regularly.

me naman, i don't keep my bags sa loob ng sleeper bags nila as in lahat open.i also put those silicant packets that can be bought sa true value and ace hardware (home something yung brand) plus i have a dehumidifier.

twice a month i clean them with collonil leather cleaner and soap and spray waterstop/stain guard on them (i have a friend who buys these for me in japan)

i also lubricate my balenciagas with lubriderm lotion every other week to keep the leather soft.

Don't store bags in their boxes for months. Just keep them in their dustbag and use them regularly.

sis, about the baghooks, are these really useful? di naman sagabal sa table? or di naman mabilis matangay yung bag? am super praning when it comes to that kasi, but i agree na minsan, not so good to make the bag sit beside me when in the resto kasi masikip sa chair or napipisa sya..

me naman, i'm super OC not just how my bag looks from outside, but the interior as well.  so i use a bag organizer to protect the inner lining of my designer bags from dust & stains.  recently discovered bag-2-go, and it's super nice cause it's very stable inside the bag, doesn't tumble around unlike smaller thinner bag orgs. also, it's roomy enough so most of my stuff (a.k.a. kalat) are confined inside the bag-2-go. dami pa compartment, so there's a place for most of my stuff (ie. keys, pens, long wallet, cellphone, checkbook, passbooks, mp3, emergency medicines, envelopes, lipgloss, coins, etc.) since i started using one, noticed that my bags' interiors are a lot cleaner whenever i change bags.

^yes po, it helps me (longchamp lang naman ang lagi kong dala saka minsan yung speedy ko).  i make sure lang na nasa tabi ko pa din, or nasa side ko ng table.

i only have a few designer bags pa lang but all their leather parts are protected with shining monkey and/or aple garde. no bad experience naman so far. but best to try them on a small hidden portion of the bag first to make sure no discoloration etc.

all of these bags are also in their dustbags. next project ko to stuff them with paper to maintain the shape. natatamad pa kasi ako.

like mommynin8, i also use a bag hook whenever i can. this has become a staple for me ever since my sister gave me one for christmas in 2007.

winsher, the bag hook is a must-have talaga, imo. my bag hook is always place on the table right beside me. if i am sitting at a table that is by the wall, i place it on the side where the wall is so hindi natatamaan, etc. no experience naman so far of the bag falling of the table or anything. make sure lang that your bag hook has a rubber underside. yugn iba kasi parang felt tela lang, this one easily slips from the edge. i find the rubber underside better.

also like winsher, i use bag organizers especially for some of my bigger bags. aside from the lining being protected from spills and scruffs, i like how the bag organizer gives structure to some bags. i use soda pop bag organizers from bubblewrap.

chocoholic21, color transfer is inevitable in some bags (like the LV vernis i think). i have one bag din na ganyan but fortunately, it's just a tiangge bag so it doesn't hurt na may stain. don't use the bag too much if you'r wearing dark colored clothes especially dark denims.

clueless i love the softness of the leather of the balenciagas kasi kaya pinagtyatyagaan ko talaga lagyan ng lotion.

i'v never used bag hooks pa feeling ko kasi ma strestretch yung handles ng bags pero that's just me ha.

help po...i am not really into bags, kaya ngayon lang ako maliligaw sa thread na ito my mom gave me her LV monogram Trocadero, she bought it in Japan years ago. sa sobrang pagkakatago, nagkamolds [textspeak!] sa pockets.  panu po kaya matatanggal yun?

also nasira na yung strap nya, naputol na [textspeak!] sa kabitan sa isang side. i searched online nasa $200 [textspeak!] strap waaaaah.  can i bring it to an LV store and let them fix it?  she cant find her authenticity card pati, panu po kaya yun?

hi sis, wala naman authenticity card ang LV, parang tag nya lang yun. anyway, you won't need that to bring it to LV para pa-repair. bring it to greenbelt, free naman pa-estimate how much ang repair. i had my toilet trousse bag changed yung lining nya kasi tunaw tunaw na. inabot ako almost 6k. i waited for 3-4 weeks to get it back.
