i have a new speedy in damier azur and i'm not sure what to do with it. after backreading, i still need some clarifications.

should i spray the rain and stain repellent first before using the bag? should i spray the whole bag (including the handles)?

what's the purpose of the conditioner? should i also use it before i use the bag or is it just for maintenance?

this is my first luxury bag and because of its color, i'm actually scared to use or do anything on it cause i might just mess it up. thanks in advance!

^ Hi, honeyblue.  If the vachetta of your Speedy Damier Azur does not have any dirt/stain on it, there's no need for the Leather Cleaner.  The vachetta normally does not become dry or brittle so there's also no need for the Leather Conditioner.  If you want to protect it from stain and water, you can use Apple Garde Rain and Stain Repellent.  Just a warning, though...  the repellent will make the vachetta a little bit darker.  You should spray evenly.

^  Yup, the Leather Conditioner can also be used for purses/wallets made of leather or any other products / accessories made of leather.  I really don't find it tedious since most of the time, I just spray the repellent on my bags.  It becomes tedious when a bag has gathered dirt/stains and you have to use the Leather Cleaner; or has become dry or brittle and you need to use the Leather Conditioner.

^ Hi Bag_Snob, am set na on buying the Apple Garde rain and stain repellant. Just a quick question though, how do i exactly spray this on my lv damier? like how many inches away? will i still rub the repellant after i sprayed it on?

^  Hi, loveena.  The product will come with a brochure containing the instructions on how to apply.  Also, the instructions are printed on the label itself.  Anyways, you must spray 8-10 inches away from the bag in a sweeping motion.  You should not rub the repellent after spraying.  Just allow it to dry up.  I usually spray 3 coats but I let each coat dry up first before spraying the next.

baghags, how do you store your bags?

if they have boxes, do you keep them in their boxes? or just in their dust bags? do you have bag shapers that you put inside the bags when not in use?

do you put them in shelves? if so, how? syempre dapat upright side by side (never one on top of another unless they are in boxes).

i've recently just taken interest in widening my bag collection kasi so my walk in closet wasn't really designed with bags in mind (just tons of shoes pero kulang pa din  my shelves).

i'm thinking of how i can store my bags - might need to have another cabinet made for them, maybe with a glass door. or maybe i can modify the shelves in my walk-in closet (modular naman so easy to change shelf height).

^^  Yup, 3 coats on each side but allow each coat to dry up first before applying the next.  You should also spray on the handles because they're prone to darkening especially the hand-held styles.

mgs sis my mom has a couple of gucci bags bought mga early 80s pa. yun outside walang problem as in mint condition. the problem is yun loob. the lining (leather ba yun) is making bakbak. as in parang may mga dandruff na humahawa when you put your stuff inside.
would you know kung san ko pwede siya ipagawa? and would it be worth the money?

Bring it to the LV store at GB4; or any LV store in your vicinity.  They always accept their products for repairs, unless the item can no longer be repaired.

Can I use the Apple Garde stain and rain repellant alone sa LV Damier Speedy and Damier wallet ko?

Or do I need to use the Apple leather cleaner first before I should spray on my bag and wallet with the repellant?

My wallet is 2 months old and the bag is a week old pa lang.

^  You don't have to use leather cleaner if your bag and wallet are not dirty.  You can use Apple Garde Rain and Stain Repellent alone.  Just a warning in case your Damier bag is in Azur (the light one)...  Apple Garde will darken the vachetta a little.  For Damier Ebene (dark brown), it won't cause any color change in the leather part of the bag.
